Interviewer: As actresses, I'm curious if there's anything valuable you've learned while working on a GL series.

Jan: Speaking from my perspective, it's already been about 10 years since I started acting in dramas. The number of shows I've been in is definitely well over ten. I've taken on a wide variety of roles throughout my career, but leading a full-fledged GL project like this is a genuine first for me. From an actor's standpoint, where you have to convey a character's raw emotions and make them entirely relatable to the audience, what I realised is: The love between two women holds a uniquely tender, gentle quality, along with an incredibly subtle and intricate emotional layer. I'm talking about those microscopic shifts in emotion. This project has given me a much deeper understanding of that emotional sensitivity. At its core, love doesn't draw boundaries or discriminate based on gender or who your partner happens to be. But when a woman connects with another woman, I feel that women inherently possess a nature that is slightly more emotionally perceptive and delicate compared to men. Because of that, it made me go, "Ah, I see! This form of love flows through such intricate steps", allowing me to fully embrace the beautiful depth of this specific genre.

Jingjing: In my case, filming this GL series has given me an entirely new outlook as an actress. I feel like I've discovered a completely fresh dynamic of human connection. The emotional exchange that happened during our creative process was incredibly close-knit and deep, much like a bond that goes way beyond friendship. Through this project, I genuinely feel like I've found the absolute best partner of my life. I mean it from the bottom of my heart.
