"Y'know, actually, I CAN'T make it tonight." She was explicitly told she's not allowed to slice and dice on this mission - why even ask her along if she can't do the one thing she's insanely GOOD at? Why bring a grenade launcher to a laser tag fight? So after being told 'no' one too many times, she'll be petty.
"Yeah," she SIGHS into the phone, "I ate way too much sauerkraut, and... Well, y'know. Not super tactical."

Xander watched in amusement. He was watching the fight, not joining in . But overhearing the convo, made him chuckle. " Do you want a laser or something, I think have one in the back' He was lonewolf, but didn't join in the fighting unless he had too. Not to mention he was just old. And fighting after while gets boring.

Apparently Aliâs team was sick of second rate bodyguards that she could slip away from.
At least thatâs the conclusion she drew seeing who was standing in front of her as her new personal bodyguard.
âYou? They got you to babysit me? Jesus ChristâŠâ
' I'm only doing my job" Xander grumbles crossing his arms. " Apparently you have history of escaping from body guards, well I hate to break to you, but that won't work for me" He was amused, and slightly annoyed.
The supersoldier leaned against the wall.
âRightâŠwell try and keep up and stay out of my way,â she replied dryly. âIâm a busy woman and I donât slow down for anyone or anything. Did my assistant tell you where youâd be bunking? Thereâs room on the crew bus.â Knowing Tonja she probably told him heâd be on Aliâs personal bus.
" I don't sleep much so i'll keep watch outside" he wasn't sure the last time he did sleep. But it wasn't like he needed it. " All I am here to do is keep you safe, " he raises his eyebrows, hand up as mock surrender. " I'm not here to stop you for doing whatever' He was only told few things. The solider put his hands down and shrug.
âWe tend to travel at night after shows, youâll have to ride somewhere. I have my own bus, the crew has a couple that they share. Thatâs mine,â she pointed to a renovated school bus. It was smaller than the big touring buses the crew used and more homey even from the outside.
âIâve got a costume fitting in the arena. I assume youâre coming?â
He nods understanding. " I got motorcycle if need be" He file the information in his mind. " Yep, but I'll give you space, I maybe already checked around" sometimes he liked being solider, it helped him keep alert.
âOf course you did.â This one would be trouble, she could tell.
âFine, letâs get going, Sergio is a bigger bitch than I am when kept waiting. I wouldnât put it past him to jab me with a pin and call it an accident.â Her tone made it clear they were old friends and that he wasnât a threat. Though he absolutely would stick her with a pin.
She lead the way through the maze of arena corridors to the room Sergio had set up in for their time here and went inside. It was a flurry of activity and fabrics of all colours.
âYou are late,â Sergio drawled, pointing at Ali accusingly. âBut your new bodyguard is cute, so Iâll let it slide.â
He chuckles at that expression. If she did see other as threat he wouldn't either. As soon as he walked in he let out a soft chuckle. ' Thanks" he looked amused but said it as a question. Between his jobs, he never had time. He tilts his head raising eyebrow before looking around again.
âSorry, Sergio. Had to meet the new guy.â
âMmmâŠsure, strip off and get over here, I need to take your blue costume in. Again.â
âYou know my shows are a workout, just chill and take the costume in.â
Ali stripped to her bra and underwear and stood still for Sergio as he took new measurements and then had her put the costume in question on.
He looks away because well he is nice. His arms are his arms as he glanced around. looking any sign of danger. He waited for her to change making sure that everything was safe but also looking for exits incase the other wanted to leave. He wouldn't voice it but she did look amazing

He walked into Avengers tower... mostly unseen. It's not like people know him. He had folder in his hand with classified on it. He threw it at Fury before turning around to leave. He didn't think Avengers would see him.. But someone did. Xander raised his eyebrows ' Take picture it might last longer" he says in low voice.

Bio:
Born in ( Redacted ). Not much is known about him. Used by unknown for early solider serum. Subject wasn't compliant and was thrown away. Somehow Survived till 19 ( Redacted). Found by Shield and put in the highest program. Cleaning up misses.
Known as quite and broody. He gets the job done with out questions. Unless you piss him off it should be found. Threat: Highest.. If any of the Enemies find out about him we are screwed. ( template found here )
Xander narrowed his eyes. It was to quite around the avengers. And it was blessing in disguise. But he was bored, and if he had to look at the wall one more time. He crept out of his room in avengers tower. Slowly making his way to the elevator hoping that Friday or anyone would be noticing that he was leaving.
" Look .. I don't want fight.. I work with avengers.. but just background stuff i need place to sleep and you were closest he yawns before crashing in your muse house.
Xander raised his eyebrows. " I know who you are.. but what I want to know is why the hell you are here" he said in deep gruff voice.

At least he wasn't. So he faded into the background. Helping clean up messes. And now the Avengers existed.. Well this would shake things up.
