How could we not have a Guinness in the Dublin airport on our layover? It tastes like a dark, creamy root beer float with alcohol. An Irish man saw Caitlin and I and said, "whoa two girls drinking a Guinness?"

Quite a few questions crossing the UK border from France. There are many fake study abroad programs in the UK where people are staying in the country and working. They stamped my passport with a 48 hour limit for transit and another that says “does not pay taxes in the UK.” They were not particularly happy that I had entered the UK though Ireland and now entered through France. Apparently In Ireland they didn't stamp something correctly and it looked suspect. Either way, I made it through. It’s interesting waiting with all the other “non UK/EU” passport holders…I have to remember that America is not the center of the world.

Be careful when you order a "lemonade" in the UK. It almost always is Sprite with a lemon as seen here....
