Fall
No matter how much I love summer, I have to admit to all of the memories that I think of when I think of fall, you know? What comes to mind is the weather, first of all. The weather when it gets to the point that the only place you want to be is outside. The humidity goes away. Right when you step outside of your door, you feel the chill of the air; you smell that certain “once a year” smell; you hear the leaves crunch beneath your feet. Oh, not to mention the view. I love looking outside the window right above the sink in my kitchen. I could look out the window all day; sit there will fuzzy knit socks on and stare. So many school events take place. Lets talk about football. I may not be the expert on the subject, but somehow high school football gives me a rush. The smell of hotdogs grilling, the sound of the announcer’s voice blaring through the stadium, the tap of the snare drums as the marching band makes there way in, the yells of coaches and parents cheering the players on. Fall is just really magical. Riding boots, sweaters, pumpkins, countless trips to Starbucks for salted caramel lattes, cuddling under the thickest blanket in your room. I could go on all day.
I hope you fall in love with someone who never stops choosing you and I hope you feel at home when you look at them.

this is a sign that if you’re not where you want to be, you’re still young and your future is what you make of it. so don’t give up on your dreams thinking that you started too late or you don’t have time. you have plenty of time to master a new skill or chase your daydreams. you still have time and you can do it.
you don’t even need to try hard
