1 Thessalonians 4:17 'And so we will be with the Lord forever.'

Eternity with the Lord Jesus, is His plan for our future. We are eternal, spiritual beings having a temporary physical life here on earth. Often life seems so overwhelming that we think, that is all there is to life.

But let me remind you that we are destined to be with the Lord forever. What a blessed hope!

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for this earthly life You have blessed me with. But may I never forget that I am one breath away from my eternal future with You, where there is no more pain, sickness, suffering or sorrow. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. 4 Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down.
