Playing a game when you don't understand the language is really interesting, I'm currently replaying Tears of the Kingdom in Japanese so I can get better reading fluidity so I don't embarrass myself when my dyslexia decides my time is nigh in my college classes soon.

Anyway, since I don't understand a lot of it, I have to heavily rely on context clues so sometimes, I will bring the wrong thing to the wrong NPC for a sidequest since I can't read or comprehend a lot of it.

Occasionally, I will be able to understand it but I forget what certain words mean in that context since Japanese can be a contextual language with a lot of its words but the written language of Japanese uses a lot of kanji to help with that and somehow, someway, somewhere, I still manage to mess it up.

Maybe I'm not built to learn a new language but I'd rather eat rusty needles than give up cause I wanna speak a second language.

Any time I think about Tears of the Kingdom, I get severely disappointed that you couldn't solve puzzles with Zelda in the past so Link could get past them in the future or vice versa with rewind or some other mechanic that never existed.
