Beau stepped forward as she tugged on his hand, “Okay.” He smiled as he took the coat from her and slipped it over her arms. “Should we take cars? I’m going to drink, I don’t know about you. Do you drink? If you don’t drink, you should drive but if you’re going to drink, we should just get a taxi. I’ll pay for it.” He suggested against her. He walked over to his own coat and slung it on himself as he waited for her answer.

Thinking for a moment, Avery didn't know if she was up for drinking tonight. However, it was the holidays and she needed to let loose since she spent most of her times cooped of the house with Nellie. Speaking of, she had forgotten to feed her dog. "Shit", she replied, running into the kitchen before looking at her beloved canine. "We can take a taxi, babe", she hollered to him from the kitchen. Grabbing the food from a bottom cabinet, she filled up food in the dog bowl before leaning down to pet her. "Nellie, baby. I'm going out tonight..I'll be back soon, I promise",she cooed at her dog before walking out the door, dragging Beau with her.

"Yeah, sure we can go. That’s a good habit to have, thought." He smiled as he spoke. "Oh, I won’t?" He asked her with a curiously look and wondered why she’d snorted so randomly. He got up when she walked over to her closet and walked towards her. "Would you like help with that?" He asked her and pointed to the coat in her hands. "My mother raised a gentleman, so I couldn’t help but ask you, even though I’m highly sure you could manage on your own." He stated and flashed her a polite, warm smile.

Tugging on his hand, Avery pulled him closer to him before staring down at her feet from the distance. "Yeah, you can help me.", she replied with a small smile. Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, she walked around to grab her kets to her car. "Are we taking my car or yours?", she asked trying to calm her nerves.
