A Very Marauders Roleplay

In 1970, The Dark Lord and his Death Eaters finally began to make a tangible move towards the eradication of Muggles and Muggle-Born witches and wizards. People began disappearing, and soon those disappearances turned into deaths. The year is now 1976. The Marauders, a group of four teenage boys destined for greatness, are just beginning their sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. With every passing day the war gets worse, and people on both sides are beginning to wonder exactly where the future will lead. NOTE: If you didn't get a response to an ask/submission in 24 hours, I did not get it

Okay, so this is the plan:

At the beginning of the year I'm going to reopen the RP, picking up from where we left off. i will also try and contact everyone who was previously involved and see if they want a part in the RP.

Those who don't want to/can't participate will have their rolls reopened.

I will also be managing with very loose rules regarding activity, as school is a major thing for myself and I can imagine how it is for everyone.

As the Masquerade comes to a close, midnight strikes, and a new month begins.

All Masquerade paras must be tied up by September 27th.

The Hogsmeade trip is currently slotted to begin October 8th and last until the 15th - this may change, so please, refer to the plots tag to check for any changes.

Any and all paras from this point forward will take place in November.

Thank you everyone for kicking up the activity so quickly! I really appreciate it.

In the meantime: the Masquerade will last until September 24. The month of November begins on September 25, so please, make sure your Masquerade interactions are tied up by September 27!

The Lunar Calendar and the dates for the November Hogsmeade Trip will be posted on the 25th, and all new interactions beginning on the 25th will take place in the month of November.

Enjoy the rest of the Masquerade! I hope this extension allows everyone a chance to enjoy the event!

What about people who are trying to be active? Like I don't want to post a lot of starters if people wont respond :/

While I understand your worries, that's the first step to an RP dying out. There is no harm in having an open chat that people aren't responding to. I would rather have everyone posting starters with few to no responses than having the dash at a near standstill.

THIS IS IMPORTANT.

We're having a serious activity problem as of late. So I'm going to start doing weekly activity checks.

Every Sunday, I'm going to post a list of blogs who haven't posted in over 6 days. You have till the next activity check to get in contact with me or to make a post - media posts do not count. These need to be either para responses, starters, or open chats. Those who don't check in by then will be booted from the RP.

This will continue until activity is back up. Even if you have multiple characters, you need to post as all your characters at minimum once a week. If one of your characters does not post/check in weekly, then that specific character will be dropped.

I've been really lenient so far on activity, and the RP is suffering for it. I don't want this RP to die out, so please, stay active! The first activity check is today, and listed accounts have until Sunday to post or get in contact with me personally.
