Wakanda Forever...😞
OK guys here's what happened and why I've disappeared.
Started off as a month break to handle homeschool stuff, birthday and anniversary things. 2020 really threw a wrench at me to try and tackle all that with limited resources.
Then the last few weeks hit hardest.
We were exposed by someone who was pressured to not say anything that they had tested positive, which set off anxiety, and then my 15 month old son got sick during our quarantine with an ear infection. Sleepless nights. Trying to call doctors who could take us because of our potential exposure.
I have been a stressed out wreck.
And, also, my laptop broke like in the middle of all that, so life gave me a big middle finger.
I'm coming back. I'll be back. I'm just mentally recovering here.
Love you guys 3000
A note arrives at Donna and Agamottos apartment. "The King and Queen of Asgard request a visit to you as soon as you are well and able to receive visitors. We are excited to meet the new addition to the family"
Donna couldn’t chuckle at how formal her old friend was being. Yes, he was the king, but that had never stopped him from being a goofball in the past. Luckily for her, the nanny had been staying in their guest room to assist while they got used to having three children and while Donna recovered.
“Ingrid, would you please send word to the King and Queen that their presence is more than welcome at this time.” She said with a smile before grabbing a simple gown to change into. Her hair was a bit messy but she couldn’t do much about it, and makeup was out of the question.
Instead, she put a kettle on the stove and placed several scones that her loving husband had made on a plate for when their guests arrived.

Donna couldn’t help but to chuckle at her friends. As if to remind her that she turned it on, the kettle on the stove started whistling.
“Ah! Hold that thought!” The young woman said as she jogged out of the nursery to the stove, taking the kettle off the heat and pouring the water into a handmade pot that already had a few bags of cinnamon tea inside. Donna then returned to the nursery with a smile.
“I haven’t eaten yet, and don’t start yelling at me yet! I had to make sure my husband was ready to take Vernon out for the day, then these two started fussing. I did get some scones out for the three of us, so if you two would like to follow me, we can put the twins in the swinging chairs in the living room.” She said, standing and holding her arm out as if to motion for her friends to join her.
“Donna,” Thor followed his friend out, holding Mira carefully. “You do need to eat. And you need to slow down.”
He put an arm around Donna, leading her to the table.
“Now sit down here,” he addressed her. “I’m surely capable of handling everything in the kitchen. No arguments.” He handed Mira back to her mother. “You just sit here, have a cup of tea, enjoy your daughter and relax. Don’t make me…” he snapped his fingers over and over to stimulate his thinking. “What’s the phrase Sarah uses? Man handleing?…That doesn’t sound right, although she always accuses me of such a thing when she refuses to relax herself.”
Sarah followed Thor out to the kitchen, with Leon in her arms. She sat herself down at the table with Donna while her husband busied himself in the kitchen.
“We’re doing this because we care,” she reminded Donna, patting her hand in reassurance. “When I woke up from my coma after Elizabeth, I was running myself ragged trying to get stuff done and more. Hell, I went over to Loki and Freyas house at one point and organized the crap out of the kids toys. I was out of control. Thor had to drag me out of there for a nap before I could attempt to organize their garden by flora name and amount.”
Donna pouted and huffed as Thor sat her down, however her demeanor completely changed when Mira was placed in her arms.
“Hello my little girl.” She smiled as she rubbed the bridge of the baby’s nose, Mira making happy noises in response. The little girl opened her eyes for the first time, revealing pale blue eyes. “Ooooo look at you, sweetheart!” The councilwoman cooed as Sarah and Leon joined them at the table, sighing at the Queen’s story.
“I remember…. and I know. Just with the surprise of the two of them I feel like I need to be everywhere at once. It is exhausting, but I’ll try to relax more often, I promise.”
“I may not know much about raising twins,” Thor remarked, ungracefully planting the china on a tray before bringing it over to the table. “But Loki and I were a handful as children and we’re about the same age–though, I’m the oldest.” Thor smirked before gulping down a cup of tea in one go. “I imagine it was stressful for mother at times. And look at the twins Loki and Freya have. I love those two, but they can be hellions and ruthless when it comes to video games. I don’t know how my sister manages to not go nuts!”
“But,” he said as he took a bit of a scone. “You don’t need to be everywhere at once, Donna. We have a palace full of servants willing to help and you need to ease back into life slowly. Not all at once. You’ll go mad.”
Sarah shook her head at Thor.
“You’re not helping Donna by comparing her children to how you and Loki behaved as kids, or sneaking into the conversation your grudge against the twins beating you at Super Mario Kart,” she remarked before throwing a cloth napkin at him. “And wipe your face. You’re a king, for Odins sake.”
Sarah held Donnas hand.
“Elizabeth and Vernon are easier to manage right now,” she said. “If you feel overwhelmed, I can handle them for a while if you want to take a nap or eat a meal in peace. We’re here to help, Donna.”
Donna smiled as she fixed her tea and grabbed a scone. Cranberry orange topped with cinnamon sugar, her favorite. To be honest, Thor’s manners hadn’t changed in decades, so seeing Sarah try to change his habits was pretty entertaining.
“Mario kart? I’ll have to ask the kids about that, see if they can teach me when I have some down time.” The Asgardian woman smiled as she took a sip. Tears almost welled in her eyes at her friends offers.
“No, I couldn’t ask that of you two.” Donna shook her head before looking over at Leon then down at Mira. “I’ve just got my hands full today is all. Promise. As soon as Agamotto returns I’m taking a very long bath, and Ingrid will be back tomorrow to assist around the house. However, Ingrid did give us a two seated stroller, so when I inevitably use it it might be nice to have some company.”
“Those twins cheat, you know,” Thor remarked. “Don’t take too much away from their lessons. But do promise us that you’ll really relax once Agamotto gets here.”
He smiled warmly.
“Can’t have our head of council too overwhelmed.”
Sarah perked up
"One of your gifts should be a home spa package," she remembered. "Here, Thor, take Leon for a moment."
After handing the baby to Thor, the Queen got up from her seat and headed over to the pile of presents she and her husband brought over. Raising her arms about to perform a mystical incantation, she scrunched her nose to think.
"There's a few bath bombs in there if I'm not mistaken," she thought out loud. "And I think they are in...this one!"
A quick turn of her wrist brought up an emerald green gift wrapped box floating away from the pile and towards Donna at the kitchen table
Happy Mother's Day, Sarah!!!

Thor fiddled with his armour and cape before he popped his fake eye in. It was custom for the King and Queen of Asgard to visit and congratulate new mothers on their staff but this was more special since it was family who had went through birth. Not much news was given except for the fact that Donna was healthy and the delivery went well.
He sighed after having trouble putting his eye in. He’d have to get it refitted.
“Do you think Donna would mind if I showed up wearing the eyepatch?” he asked his wife
@averymysticalsarah
With a twirl of her finger, Sarah had the ribbons on the gifts for Donna and the new baby tie themselves in lovely bows, stacked and ready to go. She let out a breath, satisfied that she had gotten something done in time, before walking towards her husband, her green velvet gown swishing with every step.
“As much as I love you with the eyepatch,” she kissed his cheek, standing on her tiptoes. “Please wear the eyeball. We don’t want to freak out the new baby. Come on, we’re gonna be late. I’ve got the nanny watching Elizabeth until nightfall.” With that, the King and Queen each took an armful of gifts and made their way towards Agamotto and Donnas apartment.
“Donna?” the Queen loudly whispered kicking the door open. “We’re here.”
@donnaofasgard
The head councilwoman had sent her husband and oldest son out for the day to make sure that the boy didn’t feel overshadowed by the new babies. Both parents decided they would take turns, but with the King and Queen coming to visit her, Donna decided to send Agamotto out this time.
“Come on in!” She giggled a bit, settling the twins in their bassinets before opening the nursery door. “We’re in here!” She smiled before joining the royal couple, shocked at the presents in each of their arms.
“On any normal day I would tell you to take them home, but it looks as if we’ll be needing more things….” Donna said before leading Sarah and Thor to the nursery.
“Guys….. meet Mira and Leon.”
“Now, Donna,” Thor set down the gifts at a nearby table before following her into the nursery. “You know that it’s our job as members of the family to lavish you with gifts–”
That was when the King of Asgard stopped and saw the two babies in their bassinets.
“…I’m seeing double,” he was frozen to the spot. “…Sarah, I’m seeing two babies.”
“Ahhh” a whispered squeal came out of the Queen as she excitedly made her way to the bassinets. “Twins!”
She kept her mouth covered in surprise to keep more squeals from coming out.
“Praise the freakin’ Allfathers,” she was bouncing. “I need to hold one of them.”
“We were surprised as you guys, believe me!” Donna couldn’t help but to chuckle at her family’s reaction. She made her way over to Leon and gently picked the infant up from his bassinet, carefully placing him in Sarah’s arms.
“There we go…. Leon and his Aunty Sarah.” She smiled and picked up Mira from her crib. “Thor, please come over here and hold this baby.” The Asgardian continued to laugh as he friend looked frozen to his spot.
Thor chuckled as he sat down in one of the nursery chairs, holding Mira in his giant, muscular arms.
“We shall have to have another celebration,” he remarked softly, gazing at the newborn. “The kingdom would be happy to know that a prominant noblewoman gave birth to two blessings. I’m sure Sarah would see to all the arrangements. I won’t take no for an answer, Donna. A celebration must be held.”
Holding a newborn in her arms almost made Sarah want to try for another…Almost.
She perked up while rocking Leon back and forth in her arms.
“Absolutely,” she smiled. “But the celebration can be as intimate as you want, Donna. We don’t want to overwhelm you.” She smirked. “Bet Agamotto fell to the floor when he saw two babies. How’s he handling all this?”
Donna couldn’t help but to keep chuckling at how small her daughter looked in Thor’s arms. She sat in the rocking chair across from the bassinets as they spoke.
“He likes to think he knew it was twins, playing it off like he noticed, but he was just as surprised as I was.” She gave a deep sigh at Thor’s celebration talk. “Oh come now, Thor. I haven’t even been awake for a week, let me get back into the swing of things before we have another party, pleeeeeeeease.” Donna pleaded with big puppy dog eyes that used to work on her friend when they were younger…. hopefully they still worked now.
“Why do you have to pull that look?” Thor whined back. “That’s not fair!”
Chuckling, he just smiled at Donna
“Not to worry, my friend,” he reassured her. “Any celebration in your honor won’t be for a while. Like you said, it’s only been a week. We won’t rush you.”
“Speaking of not being rushed into things,” Sarah looked back at Donna. “How’s Vernon adjusting to his new siblings?”
After sticking his tongue out at Thor, she went over and quickly kissed the top of his head, along with Mira’s head while she was at it.
“Thank you thank you thank you!” Donna quietly squealed before returning to her chair. “And it’s not my fault I mastered the puppy dog eyes and you didn’t.”
“He’s actually doing rather well with them! He calls them Mimi and Leo, and has been pretty good at understanding that they need a bit more help from Mommy and Daddy than he does.” The Asgardian smiled on, quickly daydreaming of all three of her children playing together one day. “Plus his nanny Ingrid has offered to help around a bit more, at least until I’m fully on my feet again.”
“To make sure you get adequate rest,” Thor started, shifting Mira in his arms a little to better support her head. “As King of Asgard, I’m extending your maternity leave for another month.”
Thor then grinned proudly at Donna.
“I don’t need to master that trick. It already works on my wife and that’s all I need.”
"Of course it does, babe," Sarah smirked at Thor.
The Queen then turned to Donna discreetly and shook her head while mouthing "No". It never worked at all. If it had, Thor would have had a much easier time keeping her in Asgard when she first arrived.
"You can have your nanny and Vernon come over to our chambers and they can play with Elizabeth in the garden, if you wish it Donna."
"So, have you eaten anything today? I know you've been busy but you need to keep your strength up."

Holding a newborn in her arms almost made Sarah want to try for another...Almost.
She perked up while rocking Leon back and forth in her arms.
"Absolutely," she smiled. "But the celebration can be as intimate as you want, Donna. We don't want to overwhelm you." She smirked. "Bet Agamotto fell to the floor when he saw two babies. How's he handling all this?"

"Ahhh" a whispered squeal came out of the Queen as she excitedly made her way to the bassinets. "Twins!"
She kept her mouth covered in surprise to keep more squeals from coming out.
"Praise the freakin' Allfathers," she was bouncing. "I need to hold one of them."

A small note appeared on the kitchen counter in the King and Queen's quarters. "Your royal highnesses are hereby invited to tea with the honorable Sir Vernon Vishanti in his quarters. We hope to see the three of you. ~A&V" (agamottovishanti)
Sarah smiled warmly as she read the note. All these weeks she had been worried about Agamotto, who had been worried about Donna. It was nice to see him try and focus on something a little bit brighter.
Making sure she was dressed nicely, she left a note for Thor on the counter to let him know where to find her and made her way to her great great grandfathers quarters, Elizabeth babbling away in her arms, chewing on a toy stuffed raccoon she would not let go.
~Previously~
Agamotto couldn’t help but to chuckle along as Sarah changed out of her regal gown in a flash. He had missed this, simply hanging out with her. Even before her memories were restored they would make time to get together for tea and to chat. Now, even with the kids around, it just felt right for them to be like this, together. The old god nearly choked on his tea at Sarah’s last comment.
“Well, that’s funny then, because it means she’ll have twice the amount of flowers, blankets and food.” Agamotto smiled on as he looked back at the children.
Within a flash, a memory played in his mind; his home with his wife Diane. She was out in the field riding one of the horses. Agamotto sat on their front porch with his daughter Elizabeth, who was hardly a year old then. She held a toy rabbit in her little hands and waved it around. The smile on her face looked just like……
And just like that, the old god was back in the present, watching his son play with Elizabeth. A tear formed in Agamotto’s eye as he tried to hide it with a cough.
“Sorry, just swallowed my tea wrong.” He laughed a bit.
She didn't need to read his mind to know that a bittersweet memory was playing in it. The look on Agamottos eyes said it all. What it was, Sarah didn't know. She always made it a point not to pry unless she had permission.
The young Queen just held his hand and rested her head on his shoulder, trying to comfort him.
"I'll always be here, Aggy," she whispered.
Elizabeth, while playing with Vernon, looked up to where her mother and grandfather were. Squealing in happiness, she toddled on her two legs, walking toward them, before plopping down in front of Agamotto, playing with his shoes

The kettle was on the stove. There was a tray of cranberry scones in the oven. Four chairs were set up at the dining room table, two of which were high chairs.
Agamotto was tying a little green silk bow tie around Vernon’s neck, the toddler babbling away and even getting a few words in here and there.
“Sasa!” The boy giggled and clapped his hands. “Sasa! Sasa Sasa Sasa!!” The old god couldn’t help but to chuckle along with his son.
“That’s right, my boy. Sarah’s coming for tea.” Agamotto smiled as he set his son on the floor to toddle around as he put some finishing touches together in the kitchen, waiting for the Queen and Princess to arrive.
Soon Sarah and Elizabeth arrived at Donna and Agamottos quarters. It was so nice to get away from royal duties to sit down with some of her favorite people in the universe. With a small, but bright, smile on her face, she wrapped an arm around Aggy, giving him a kiss on the cheek. Elizabeth squealed in happiness at the sight of her great great great grandfather, almost levitating right out of her mothers arms.
“Where do you think you’re going, missy?” Sarah laughed a bit, before setting her daughter down.
Elizabeth startes crawling over to Vernon, the stuffed raccoon still in her mouth as she tried to find what she and her friend could play with. Sarah took a whiff of the air and sighed happily.
“Do I smell scones?” she asked, grinning at Agamotto. “They smell am-az-ing.”
Agamotto couldn’t help but to laugh as the Princess began floating in the air. He had yet to witness any powers from her, so he was very excited to see it.
“Look at you, little one!” The old god smiled as he kissed Sarah’s cheek and then Elizabeth’s. “You’re going to have your hands full sooner than later I see. Here, I’ve got some high chairs set out so the kids can join us.”
At the sight of Elizabeth, Vernon happily waved his arms around and pulled her into a hug. What nobody noticed though is that a faint green light flashed from the toddlers closed eyes.
“It’s a recipe of Donna’s that I found. I wanted to perfect it before she returned to us so that I could surprise her. I expect your honest opinion.” Agamotto smirked as he removed the tray from the oven. They were orange craisin scones with cinnamon sugar on top. The old god then took a small bowl of vanilla glaze he made and drizzled it across the pastries with a fork.
“Please, sit! I’ve got my cinnamon tea, as well as a few other options, and the scones will be cool enough to eat in a few minutes.”
“Everything smells delicious, Agamotto,” Sarah took whiff and let out a breath of pure joy.
The smell of baked goods reminded her of the breakfasts she would have with Donna when they were busy making potions to recreate with Donna. Scents of scones and warm tea brought back the peace of waking up to birds chittering in cherry blossom trees outside her chambers in the mornings.
The Queen, despite the charm and etiquette lessons she took part in New Asgard, sat herself on the counter, taking a finger to dip in the bowl that held the vanilla glaze, licking it while she watched the children play with each other.
“I could eat a whole plateful of nothing but this glaze,” she said smiling, reaching for another. “So far, Donna would be proud of this, Aggy.”
Tears almost welled in Agamotto’s eyes as he listened to the highest compliments. He chuckled and shook his head as he watched Sarah sit on the counter and dip her finger in the icing. He decided to join her on the counter and pulled out two spoons from a drawer, handing one to Sarah.
“Thank you, sweetheart. That really means a lot to me.” The old god smiled as his eyes caught the two children playing together in the living room. Vernon was showing Elizabeth some of his own plush animals.
“I hope Vernon finds joy in baking when he’s older, since both his mother and I love it so much.” He said before reaching over and grabbing a still-warm scone, dunking it into the glaze before taking a satisfying bite.
“I think he will,” Sarah explained, licking the spoon. “Think about it. Mom baked. Grandma baked. You bake. After a few fires in the Sanctum kitchen, I got the hang of baking. It’s practically in his genes. In a few years, that kid of yours will be baking with us in no time.”
She grabbed one of the scones, ripping one in half before taking a bite out of one half before dipping the other half in the vanilla glaze.
“This is really good,” she said again with a mouthful–one would never think she was a Queen if they saw the way she was eating. “Are there any final preparations to get ready for next week?”
“Sarah, are you reading my mind?” The old god chuckled. It was true, Agamotto had a sneaking suspicion that his wife would return to him in a few days. He just didn’t realize until now that others might know it as well.
“The nursery is set, I’ve perfected her scones, Vernon is behaving even though I know how much he misses her.” He said as he looked over, the two children still happily playing with each other.
“I just hope Vernon will like his sibling, whoever they are. See, we’ve had so many opportunities to learn the sex of the child, to decorate the nursery, to teach Vernon what it is to have a little sister or brother. But it’s seeing him playing with Elizabeth here that’s teaching me that whoever his sibling is, I know he will love them no matter what.”
Both of them watched the children play, Elizabeth waving around her stuffed raccoon in squeals before letting Vernon have a chance to play with it. Sarah smiled before reaching for another scone.
"He's going to be a good big brother," she said with a mouthful, licking the glaze off her fingers.
The Queen took one look at her dress covered in crumba in glaze, before deciding to switch over to a simple pair of jeans and shirt.
"Don't know why I didn't think of that in the first place," she giggled, placing a kiss on Agamottos cheek before levitating two cups of tea toward them. "I actually didn't have to read your mind to know Donna should be back with us soon. I credit intuition for that. Besides, I've already sent the healers instructions to make sure that there are fresh flowers, clean blankets, and comfort food on stock in her room for when she wakes up."
