Avery sighed. "Did you at least ice them? And don't lie to me. I'm asking because you're my friend."

"Sorry." Avery said putting his hand down. "Jay..it is a big deal."

“If you thought this was bad, you should see the other guy.”

With those words Avery stopped Jace he carefully ran his hand over his face. "Truthfully how bad? And who?"

"Okay then maybe a bit." He chuckled.

Avery chuckled at him. "That went so well." He shook his head. "Alright."

"We can go. I'd rather be watching a movie and pigging out. My parents thought it'd be good for me to come." Avery sighed.

"So this is a lame first dance. Just say the word and we can go to my house."

"I mean I didn't expect it to be great..just decent." He shrugged again.

"It's okay." He shrugged.

"I know what you mean,Jay."

"That's a good way of looking at it." Avery nodded with a small smile.

"I know that. It's just I figure some of those memories are bad."

"Sorry." Avery stated chewing his lip.

Avery nodded and smiled. "You have a lot of memories don't you?"

"I don't know. Just the adventure in it made me feel better." He shrugged. "I can see how that could happen."

"It's a good one." Avery agreed. "I used to watch it a lot when I was scared."

"We can watch the goonies."
