Introduction

HELLO people of Earth! I've come to bless you with my presence actually. I am Avery. I am an alien from a world out of your comprehension and I have decided to create a GirlBlog on Tumblr.

I am 23 years old! I will most likely post NSFW here so please do not interact if you are a minor! If you are an adult: feel free to interact with my content :) I am always happy to make friends!

I'm diagnosed autistic. This is a disability I have a love and hate relationship with. I may talk or communicate differently to you. I may need you to be straight up with me but I also am a very loving person and have a lot of love in my heart. Despite the misconceptions of autism; Autistic people are very loving and tend to love outside the arbitrary rules placed in society. I will most likely talk about this in my posts and reblog content around that.

I am LGBTQ+ actually! I'm Non-Binary (they/them), Autigender, Pansexual, Sapphic, and also Demisexual! Now before we have any CONVERSATIONS ON THIS - no I don't care if you don't believe if what I am is real or not, do NOT interact with me if you have hate in your heart about people just living as they want. I hope you find peace. However, to those who are curious and want to learn you are more than welcome to ask me things about this!!! I have no qualms with questions and I welcome curiosity with loving arms.

I'm a Clinical Psychology student! In my last year (before I graduate)! I plan to do my doctorate and provide research into AFAB Autism and PMDD. Both conditions in which I have. I am a huge advocate for PMDD research and awareness. I am First Aid trained and have done First Aid events, I used to also go to an Engineering school and have qualifications in Engineering too! I have a huge interest in Computers and regularly have coding projects in the works that will be posted to GitHub soon (if they haven't been added already). Which you can see here.

For all my spiritual girls my Tropical signs are Aries (Sun), Aries (Moon), Sagittarius (Rising). My Sidereal sign is Pisces! I am an eclectic witch! I used to heavily be into Wicca until I was 19, so I do have a vast knowledge on witchcraft and have been practising since I was 16 years old! I am happy to talk about my beliefs so if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!

no you have to contribute to your fandom if you don't want it to die. most fandoms die because people say 'it's so sad watching the fandom die when the hype dies' without doing anything about it. I'm not saying you have to push out 100k word slow-burn fic, I'm not saying you have to make fan art or gif sets or edits or anything. I'm just saying we as a community should contribute to our fandom if we don't want it to die, and by contributing, I'm talking about giving kudos, commenting on your favorite fics, reblogging your favorite art and just talking about your favorite characters. that's enough to keep a fandom alive. that's the most effective way to keep a fandom alive in my humble opinion.

fandoms die because people stop talking about it, fandoms die because people stop engaging with fan content once the hype is gone. what I'm saying is, mainstream media's hype may be gone, but our fandom can stay alive and thriving if us as a community don't let it die.

I dated a guy called Callum for a month and he basically told me about being hit with a brick by his mother and was in hospital, I think he even phoned me while it was happening, I remember I called every hospital in the area to see if he was ok. Turns out he lied and acted out the phone call — apparently he just wanted space so he could play ROBLOX police RP??? LMFAO

PMDD feels so horrific because there's nothing you can do. I don't say that to be depressing it's just unlike most treatable mental health or physical conditions this is persistent and lasts throughout your life.

It can get worse with age, it can get worse if you get pregnant, it can get worse if you don't get pregnant, it can get worse during perimenopause — it can get worse by other hormonal influences. It also can be impacted by menopause but there's a lack of research around this. Everything you do can make it worse.

You can even become treatment resistant to medication that's meant to stop your hormones from peaking. You can get end of dosage failure. You can have all these other complications associated with having medication for PMDD. You need specialist nurses to be able to even administer medication for specific PMDD treatments, a lack of nurses already in healthcare so you're lucky if you even get an appointment, nobody talks about the effects of late medication usage, lack of resources or support in healthcare for PMDD. You can react badly to estrogen add-back too.

There's just so many layers to this, I never see anyone talking about. Never mind the influences with other conditions, which is barely even researched to begin with.

Forget POC, FTM or Non-binary people they don't even get a footnote in most PMDD research.

There's so much of a lack of documentation for this and it feels like it's not being taken seriously — when the research we do have shows the most staggering rates for people committing suicide.

It baffles me just because this is a AFAB condition that nobody cares about it.

What about the people who have to have surgery, where is their support if they want to freeze their eggs — a right that everyone in the UK can have if they are to have surgery that affects fertility, but PMDD isn't listed and you will have to fight your case for this, why is it not mandatory? What about the grief that people with PMDD might have because their treatment stops them from being able to have kids?

PMDD should be talked about in sexual education, nobody even knows what it is when I bring it up, including professionals.

Yet all the research I see is how PMDD is hard for male partners of PMDD patients. Yes because apparently we care more about the men who have to deal with those with PMDD rather than the actual victims of PMDD. That's another thing too there's no research for LGBTQ+ relationships with PMDD.

There's so much lack of research or care for those with this condition and it absolutely sucks when all you want is to feel normal and it's like not even the professionals care. There is no support for you outside of niche charities and other people with the condition on forums. There is no sort of community support at all, especially not in person, especially not if you have another condition that is impacted with your PMDD (PME).

In which PME isn't even a diagnosable condition in most countries yet there is clearly people who suffer with PMDD and another condition that matches the exact description of PME. PMDD wasn't even diagnosable until 2018.

There seriously is such a lack of funding, research or care for the people who have to suffer with this horrific condition and it's adjacent condition PME. There is no research for a majority of conditions with PME and how that can impact treatment as well.

There is a lack of care for any of this and I feel like I'm going insane talking about this. Why is this not a global crisis? 32% of people with PMDD attempt suicide, which is 7x more than the average population. Why does nobody care?! 72% have LIFETIME suicidal thoughts. This feels like the greatest medical misogyny in practice.

Dare I even say there are huge health scams that happen in PMDD spaces where people promote these herbal UNPROVEN methods to people who will do anything to help themselves, there are probably hundreds of desperate PMDD sufferers being spoon fed this unregulated 'cure' and being scammed. Nobody talks about that either.

I have more to say but this post is long enough (I hit the word count.) TLDR; There's a lack of research and I'm so tired of it.

I saw some posts about autistic people identifying with being alien and alterhunan because of how they're treat in this world and I just think that's an aspect yes but also you just find other things a priority and interesting that nobody else does. You feel weird for constantly jumping from passion to passion and you wish there was another you, you could talk too. It feels lonely.
