Hey guys! I'm cleaning out my room bc my roommate moved out finally and I found this guy languishing in the back of my closet. It's a denim jacket I painted when I was like 16 and the person I was painting it for ended up not wanting it so I just kept it, but it doesn't fit me. I'm asking 50 dollars for it because I don't want to give it to goodwill, so dm me if you're interested.

It's hand-painted acrylic mixed with fabric medium, so it should be washer safe in theory but since it's never been worn, it's never been washed. It's size woman's XL with elbow length sleeves which is why the arms look rly short on me in the pic. The painting is a recreation of van goghs Skull Of A Skeleton with A Burning Cigarette.

my art style is heavily influenced by the art movement known as “gråtrunka”. It has its roots in old swedish folklore and is primarily about dealing with loneliness and longing. Its a very subtle and unique form of vent art that has its origins from around the 1200bc.

Forgot how long paper mache took to dry. It’s way to early to take off the base but I painted the gold side and left the black side unpainted to show what it looks like.
