I totally see her not going down this route.

However, she did grow up. Not to mention she was asked by Aang to help protect the city he built, and I can’t see her turning down such an offer. It was also an opportunity for her to have some form of stability - a career which promises progression can become appealing to somebody who finds the more bandit lifestyle easier.

I think if she stuck with her childhood ways, it would be a bit obvious, but I’m not saying it’s implausible either.

I did like the fact she had become a figure of authority and discipline, which is precisely what she needed.

Hey look! It's my very first otp like ever!!

When I first watched atla I was still around 5 maybe. And even though I didn't have a brain at that time, when we re-watched it I remembered liking Taang as little bebe (wow even as a kid i didn't like some canon ships huh? guess i had a brain after all )

Also! Read this amazing fanfiction that I based this drawing from! (sometimes the link thing don't work so I'll put the link in the comments) I chose it over sleep and now it has reawakened my Taang heart <3
