hi my angels, please take a few minutes out of your day to read & reflect on what’s happening across the middle east, pakistan, and neighbouring regions.
there is an ongoing war in the middle east, especially between iran, israel, and the united states, which has escalated into missile strikes and armed clashes affecting multiple countries including saudi arabia, qatar, kuwait, the uae, bahrain, jordan, and iraq. diplomatic efforts have collapsed and there have been attacks and retaliations that have caused civilian casualties, damaged infrastructure, and disrupted everyday life for millions.
additionally, pakistan and afghanistan are currently experiencing heavy clashes along their border, marking what officials have described as open military engagements between the two nations. this situation has added to regional instability and concern for civilians on both sides.
last year, tensions between india and pakistan also surged: india launched a military campaign called Operation Sindoor in may 2025 in response to a deadly militant attack in indian-administered kashmir. that operation involved missile and precision strikes on sites inside pakistan and pakistan-administered kashmir, which india said were linked to militant groups — and which pakistan described as unsafe and damaging to civilians.
in early 2026, indian military leaders announced a continuation of that broader strategic posture under what some reports call Operation Sindoor 2.0, indicating india was prepared to respond more strongly if provoked again. these developments have kept south asia on edge and raised concerns about wider escalation.
with tensions already high between pakistan and afghanistan, analysts have warned that any additional military involvement by india, even if indirectly, could dramatically widen the conflict.
because india and pakistan are both nuclear-armed states, even limited escalation carries serious regional and global consequences.
beyond the headlines, long-running conflicts like the yemeni civil war and the israeli-palestinian genocide continue to impact millions of innocent people with displacement, loss of homes, and disruption to daily life.
this is all it affecting real families, workers, students, refugees, children, and everyday people. you don’t have to be a political expert to care, you just have to see that people are suffering.
if you can, read from multiple verified news sources, listen to voices from communities actually affected, and share accurate information. and if you do pray, please keep palestine, afghanistan, pakistan, iran, israel, saudi arabia, the uae, qatar, bahrain, jordan, iraq, yemen, india, and all civilians in your thoughts.

I hope you are doing well. It has been more than two years since the genocide, as you know. I once had a previous donation link, but GoFundMe deleted it.
Now is the time we need your support the most. The war may have ended, but the tragedy has not. Prices are still very high, and winter is approaching. There are many difficulties and risks — such as the worn-out tents and other hardships.
We are all in need of your help and support.
If you cannot donate, please write posts about me and talk about my story. I have become part of this community and have lost many friends due to account closures. I also face a lot of criticism for using translation tools or accusations of being a scammer.Iwant to draw attention to the fact that English is not my first language, and I always need help to communicate better with you.
In fact, our tents are worn out and not ready for the winter, as we were bombed three times during the ongoing war. I’ve attached below several photos showing the shrapnel that fell on us and caused the tents to tear apart.
Right now, I need your support — at least to provide tents for the winter so that we don’t face difficulties when it rains.

⟢ walking down the street is, usually, not that hard of a task. but when you throw a layer of fresh ice and your clumsy self into the mix, what's supposed to be a cute winter date quickly turns into a fight for survival [0.8k words]
becca’s notes… i know a patch of ice loves to see my clumsy ass coming so this is inspired by my hellish walk to work the other day
deep into the throes of winter, the once tolerable cold has turned piercing, penetrating the wool of your gloves and seeping through your skin to settle in your veins. it’s the kind of cold that stings, bites, clings to your skin long after you find solace indoors. in an impractical effort to warm up, you huff and puff, breath misting into soft clouds that quickly dissipate. the white expanse of sky above only promises more snow and you’re not entirely sure how to feel about it.
if you had it your way, you likely wouldn’t be outside right now. luke, however, apparently has the needs of a golden retriever, and requires at least an hour of outdoor activity a day. something about fresh air, or stretching his limbs, or some other vague justification as to why you’re currently outside in less than ideal temperatures.
under any other circumstances, you love a walk. during summer, you’d dragged luke out on constant destination-less wanders, purely wanting to feel the sun on your face, spend some more time with your boyfriend, and perhaps treat yourself to an overpriced beverage along the way for a pick me up. but now, when the thin layer of snow dusting the ground conceals the threat of ice lying under foot, you’re not as enthusiastic about the whole activity.
luke, bless his soul, tries to keep spirits high, splitting his focus between eyeing your every cautious step and keeping up a stream of pleasant conversation.
blue spots dance across your vision, likely a result of the light bouncing back off of the bright sheet of snow that you’ve been staring down at far too intensely. you daren’t lift your eyes from the ground though. knowing your luck, the very first step you took blind would land you flat on your ass.
infuriatingly, luke hardly seems to bat an eye. sure, he skates on ice for a living, but this isn’t a rink. it’s the sidewalk, the bobbly, uneven sidewalk with random patches of ice and sleet, and he’s taking every step like it’s no problem. you, however, currently tip-toe with an uneven gait, imagining that somehow, the less contact you make with the ground the better.
luke thinks you look ridiculous, and his heart feels a little too big for his chest as he watches your awkward stride, your tongue barely poking out of your mouth in concentration. he can’t even tease you over it – it’s one of the cutest things he’s ever seen. if you wouldn’t tell him off for it, he would’ve taken a video.
“i think it can sense fear, you know,” you theorise grumpily, nose scrunching softly as a slight headache builds behind your eyes, a consequence of the frigid cold assaulting your skin.
“what, the ice?” luke scoffs, corners of his lips ticking upwards. “it’s some sort of apex predator now, is that it? stalking its prey?”
luke shifts his voice, tone resembling that of a nature documentary narrator, moving his hands in swooping gestures as he prattles on about the deadly ice and its tendency to prey on poor, unassuming girls who definitely haven’t dressed appropriately for the weather.
it’s so stupid that you can’t help but laugh, your concentration wavering for a moment. bad idea.
“jesus fucking–”
luke’s hand shoots out to grab your waist before you even register you’re slipping. stiff from the cold, your fingers clutch desperately onto the thick fabric of his coat as you hold onto him like a lifeline. like a trapped bird, your heart batters heavily in your ribcage like it wants out, the anxiety of losing your footing causing an uncomfortable heat to prickle against your neck.
concern dances behind luke’s eyes as he checks you over, as though looking for some impossible injury that could have occurred without you even hitting the ice. for a moment, it’s silent save for your slight panting.
then, the laughter starts up.
“oh my god,” you breathe, lifting a hand to cover your face as small giggles leave you. “i almost died.”
luke isn’t faring any better, failing at attempting to muffle his own sounds of amusement. he simply shakes his head, guiding your arm to loop around his own, ensuring your hand rests firmly against his bicep for added stability.
“hold on tight, idiot.” his words are warm against the cold air, and the teasing nickname holds more love than any other pet name could in that moment. “and if you fall again, i’m leaving your ass there.”
neither of you believe his promise. you hold on anyways.
Hello, my name sooad Muhammad, I am a 61-year-old mother and former school teacher from Gaza💔
After the army entered the city, we went out to Rafah under the attack of planes and missiles. And the bullets that spare no one, we lived in torn tents that did not protect from the heat, the cold, or the rain. All the words in the world cannot describe what we have lived through. All I want is for you to look at me and my family with a merciful heart and help me.
Before October 7th, I lived a humble life, dedicated to teaching and raising my children. But everything changed. Since that day, my family and I have been living in unimaginable conditions—without electricity, without clean water, without safety.
Our home was destroyed, and we now sleep in a torn tent, exposed to the freezing cold. My children cry from hunger and fear. The markets are empty or unaffordable. Bread is now a luxury—I knead pasta just to make something to fill their stomachs
Please open your heart and stand with us in this time of despair.
We are not asking for much—just a chance to survive. A blanket for the cold. A piece of bread. A roof that does not leak. A moment of peace for my children
I am humbly asking for your help. Your donation, no matter how small, can give us warmth, food, and hope. It can help us survive these dark days and rebuild a life with dignity.
Your support means the world to me and my family.
Please donate 🙏
All the destruction that you see, we live every day a hundred times, and we live hunger, death, and a life that has no taste of life
I am Falestine, Jad Al-Haq, I am 37 years old, married, and I have a eight-month-old child named Youssef. I gave birth to him during the war during very harsh conditions that no human being can bear. I moved from the hospital immediately after giving birth to the tent in which we were staying after we were displaced to it after the Israeli bulldozers completely bulldozed my house. and my suffering did not start from here. Rather, it began since the beginning of the war, and I am still suffering. I cannot provide enough milk for my baby or diapers. Even medicines and vitamins are not available.
I ask you for your urgent help in disseminating the link to my family and communicating it to people interested and able to help us. I didn't want to do it, but the tragic situation we are living in is what pushed me to do it. I feel sad and helpless, after we had everything, we are now homeless on the streets, living in a tent next to a dilapidated public toilet and there is sewage, dirt and waste everywhere, we sleep on it! We suffer from terrible heat, insects, scorpions, the danger of death, bombs and missiles, in addition to hunger of course, the danger of pollution and terrible diseases, especially the digestive, respiratory and reproductive systems!
. My father and mother could not bear it any longer. My father had a stroke after losing his home and his place of work, and my mother suffers from chronic diseases and needs treatment.
Do you have the right to imagine that when you spend your life building for yourself and your children to live a decent life, all of this disappears in the blink of an eye, and now when you reach the age where you should rest, you are forced to start again!!? But the most important thing now is to try to survive and protect your children from all the factors of death that surround us! I ask everyone who has humanity or conscience to feel our situation and put themselves in our place. How can someone who has lived with dignity all his life accept this? We are slowly dying every day.
Your donation, no matter how small, can have a big impact. It can provide a meal for my little one, a clean bottle of water, or a moment of safety under these difficult circumstances. Every donation brings with it a ray of hope, alleviating our suffering and giving us the strength to face a new day.
I ask you to donate and support the steadfastness of the Gazan people, and share this campaign with your friends and families. Together, we can make a difference and help my family get through this ordeal.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and support.

After 470 days of war on Gaza, the destruction that has occurred, the displacement we have faced, moving from one place to another, and the loss and death of loved ones and friends, I found myself alone without a home or place, and even the prices of food are astronomical. The world has changed so much that life has become gloomy and boring. Therefore, I ask for your help in rebuilding myself, my life, and my family's life anew. You are our remaining hope in life. If there were an opportunity to work, I would not waste a minute nor ask for help from anyone, but I urgently need assistance for my family, my children, and the women to rebuild what has been destroyed and crushed in this devastating and painful war. Since October 7th, we are suffering and facing all shades of death and pain, we are trying to save our lives by all means.
First, we have displaced four times until now, then I have lost my first child, then we have lost our only source of energy which is our solar panel. It’s too dark at night. We have to buy a new panel which will cost us more than $1500. You are our only hope to get it please 🙏

The war has returned after 15 months of death and genocide. We have never rested. We are losing people every day, most of them children and women... The bombing is everywhere. Our children are afraid...The sound is frightening.😭
There is no food, no drink, no medicine, the crossing is closed and everything is expensive.
‼️We don't want to die. Please donate and help us so we can buy food and medicine for my mother and save ourselves from death. Just donate. 😭🙏😞🫂‼️
