    *･༓☾ the muted crinkle of pages turning filled the alcove where taeseok currently resided, practically engrossed in the book—No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai; a short story that peaked the interest of the silver-haired male due to a similarity held between him and the main protagonist with being incapable of revealing his true self, or his ego. the male was there mostly to shirk away from his duties of training with his fellow peers, knowing later he would get an earful about the responsibilities he has to perform, but taeseok truly didn’t want to deal with people gawking at his prowess with time.

             regardless, his sense of peace was interrupted by a presence that he unfortunately recognized as someone with the eagerness and gentleness of a golden retriever that taeseok absolutely does not want anything to do with. he’s been trying to avoid the other for god knows how long, but it seems byungjae always manages to sniff him out one way or another—rather it’s the fact that taeseok constantly hides himself within the timeless archives or consistently climbs a tree in the avengers’ park when it comes to evading people, sticking to a routine that is easily discoverable.  

             with a slight irritated facial expression, taeseok placed his book down on his lap roughly, glaring at the other male with a scowl for a greeting.  ❝ what do you want with me now? ❞ he truculently questions to the other, expectantly waiting for a reply from byungjae as he impatiently drums his fingers on his book.

            *･༓☾   another sleepless night would be an issue to the average human being, superpowered or not, but for taeseok, it’s just an opportunity to go on an unhindered stroll across the campus without his mind being constantly plagued with images he cannot recognize nor identify its purpose—he considers it bonus points if its a clear sky outside that enables him to see the constellations. so, with that said, it’s safe to say that is just what the male planned to do, trudging out of his dormitory as quiet as possible as to not wake up his slumbering roommate (and risk the chance of getting caught) and get out for a breather.

       with his phone in his hand and a blanket in the other, the silver-haired male sent a text message to the only other person who may be awake in the dim of the night—sungjin. a simple jupiter is in its orbit was sent, with the device being pocketed as soon as the message subtext appeared, as a means of a secret code to alert the younger male of his [taeseok’s] plan. he had an inkling the other was awake, but that is just what it was, an inkling and not a factual statement; an illogical sense of the gut feeling that leads taeseok to believe so.

      as the pajama-clad male made his wary way to the avengers’ park, he checked to make sure no one was around, using his time manipulation to slow things around him as he scurried across to the small space, locating the distinct bench obscured by a large tree, but allowed for a nearly picturesque view of the starry night sky. settling down onto the said bench, taeseok wrapped the blanket around himself closing his eyes momentarily as he listened to the serene sounds of crickets chirping to one another, awaiting for his companion to arrive.

oh man, i finally got the chance to post this, even though i said i would later (now, a lot later).  („ಡωಡ„) anyways!!  im piri, 17, and est, and you can reach me thru discord (ask first please!!) or thru ims, so lms and i’ll come to you!! now onto my beloved child! basically a mixture of doctor strange, doctor who, homura akemi, and harry potter, all wrapped in this bundle of joy.

but a little detailed tl;dr you should read down here:

wasn’t suppose to live since his birth had complications

the hospital did some willy nilly stuff involving the time stone

perhaps are aware they did smth to save their son’s life, but they don’t know what it was

cue little taeseok developing some destructive abilities, seeming like a synthesis between his parents, but it’s not actually his own, more of a given ability (thanks hospital)

his abilities often cause him harm, being bedridden or fainting as a result of utilizing too much of his life force to use it/control it

found an hourglass and accidentally traveled to some egyptian history after a field trip to the museum. that was not a fun experience. he was like nine.

at around eleven years old, his time perception ability developed, so he lost control of it, being unaware it even existed, but caused people (in his school) to lose their sense of time momentarily and a danger for humans.

his parents cared for reputation, so they moved the family out to a remote village to be at peace and taeseok was forced to be homeschooled while his siblings weren’t

developed a fear of his own ability after chrono vision left him bedridden and weak; the images in his mind were confusing and it frightened him

came to distrust people as well since if he can’t trust his parents, he can trust no one. a cynical, daydreamer who is passive aggressive and wishes to be alone most of the time, but secretly craves attention and affection. 

avenger’s academy is his saviour, but he stands between the shades of grey of a hero and a villain, knowing there’s no straight black or white in the world.
