Let me explain.

I had this idea that Hallownest was put on strict quarantine, meaning all it's residents were not allowed to leave and the cities around it simply stopped all trade. In later stages when the panic got especially bad the residents of surrounding cities would eliminate anyone from Hallownest or passing though Hallownest in fear of the infection spreding.

The only thing they heard about vessels is how to indentify them by appearance and since they are from Hallownest they were marked as something to kill on sight. That did result, however, in circumstances where even non vessels would be killed just because of a couple similar traights like very light hair, pale skin, face masks or horns.

So Ghost, with a little help from someone, made themselve a disguise with ears XD.

I love it. Thats it, I'm gonna continue this.
