As someone who started listening to mcr at 13 (currently in my 20's), even back then I felt weirded out by the constant infantilization of these grown ass men who now have children and families. I know fandom culture as a whole isn't perfect but people should at least try to be considerate. It's this kind of behavior that makes me not want to wear merch/ go to events and such because I don't want to be associated with that kind of crowd.
