“[The] average daydream is about fourteen seconds long and [we] have about two thousand of them per day. In other words, we spend about half of our waking hours — one-third of our lives on earth — spinning fantasies.”
— The Storytelling Animal – the science of how we came to live and breathe stories. (via mermaidshades)

Like a true aquarian, I either go radiosilent for months or spam all the posts on my mind within an hour. Then go back to hiding again :')

“Thoughts come and go but who you truly are never leaves. You are not your thoughts; you are the awareness that is aware of your thoughts. You are not the mind, you are the silent witness of the mind. The apparent separate self (person) is just a thought and a thought cannot experience ‘anything’.
No one hurts you with words, your own beliefs about yourself do. Limiting beliefs and behaviours cannot survive in higher awareness. The thinking mind tries to take ownership of experiences and creates a running story (labels, concepts, feelings, etc) as a substitute for reality. Seeing through the smokescreen of thoughts (via your unchanging presence) without identification is the first step to true liberation.”
-Anon I mus (Spiritually Anonymous)
The entire world is nothing other than a elaborate projection of your mind; a holographic mirror that reflects your present state of consciousness. Your mind and senses mistake the appearance of reality (arrangements of phenomena) for reality itself which overshadows the single, underlying truth of existence. Perceptions are entirely in your mind therefore, the world will not change until you change your perceptions about it.
