This is the way

How can you lead someone who is lost to the Path of truth?

How can you lead your flock that they may not get lost?

How are you sharing the journey with them?

Or do you even share with each other's journey?

I got that alarm when the day came and a friend confessed to me that he already left our Catholic faith. Yes, to me, being the one who persuade him to join our catholic community.

It was kinda heartbreaking. i was surprised, i didn't saw it coming. Then i realised why i kept inviting him to join our community back then --for he was soon going to have this kind of decision. Aside from the fact that i had to invite someone and he was the only person i could think of -a friend out if the community. I wanted to share with him my experience and help nurture his faith. Though he soon accepted it, i guess distractions still made its way to make it fail.

Did i fail to journey with him in faith? Or he just didn't opened up fully to allow us to journey with him?

Maybe we just somehow failed.

Whatever it may be, it was a lesson of journey and relationship.

Compassion 

 A big word I have known for a long time now, especially in working in the Lord's vineyard. One of humanity's virtues. 

But it really made an impact on me this time. It became a lesson I realized I didn't understood before, especially involving pets. 

 --

There had been puppies who got orphaned. Barely 2 weeks old. After telling friends about the mother dog's accident, one rushed to rescue the pups. Feeding them was a challenge, and looking for foster homes, fortunately, went easy. Now they're living jolly fostered lives. 

Those pups, and two guy friends, opened my heart more to love and care for doggies. Especially our pet at home, whom I never was a good-caring-owner to. I learned how it was to care enough, how not to be picky, and how to make them feel loved. I felt pity on those pups and acted to help them survive. Those friends taught me how to act.

Pity and compassion are way different matters. See, pity is more of emotion, but compassion is feeling the pain and moving to do something for the better. And as I felt the former at the beginning, I learned the latter after. 

 Love indeed is what we need to live.

2019, i think was the gateway to my breakthrough year. Hahah

Indeed, the Lord's grace abounds and no limits. This trip almost never happened but we, my sis and i, made it there! 

Took the earliest, 3 am, van trip to the city that same day of the event. dahil nagkaaberya kami the day before, papunta na sa cancel at nawalan na rin ako ng gana that night. Buti nalang pinush talaga ni ate. Hahah

I was reminded during the event how i am a  gifted, beloved and empowered child of God, as what the year's theme was. 

.

And Liveloud naman, dati pangarap ko lang to, ngayon live na ako kasama sa concert!

Before this praise concert was a pilgrimage from the parish church to the venue. Totally tiring, but worth it!

Kelangan kasi natin pagpaguran at pagsumikapan kung talagang gusto natin ma-achieve. Hahaha

gawan ng paraan kung gusto maka attend.

Magsakripisyo basta para kay Kristo.

and the reward, you'll never know. You'll get it when you deserve and when the time is right and bonus if it's unexpected.

Ganun magmahal ang Panginoon.

Sabi pa, "siksikligligumaapaw!"

Pero siyempre dapat mahalin din natin Siya.

Let's not make it a one-way affection, unfair naman yun sa Kanya.

He loves boundless and yet we love Him with limits? Wag ganon fren! 

Let us be grateful for all the love and blessing we receive. Atleast for that napapasaya natin Siya.

Pagibig.

Andaming rebelasyon at pangyayari since December. Pinagbigyan yata ni Lord yung dasal ko na bonggang December 2019. 😄

Nakakawindang yung mga pagkakataon na tila pinapakita ang hinaharap na pinapangarap. Nakakagulat ang mga salitang binitawan. Nakuryente ng mga kamay na hinawakan.

Paano pa kaya pipigilan?!

Yung feels na humingi ka ng regalo, tapos nung on-delivery na eh natakot kana matanggap. Nung andyan na natakot kana buksan. Baka kasi prank lang or baka totoo na nga.

Biglang hindi pala ako handa magbukas ng regalo. Hindi pa yata ako worthy na mabigyan nito.

Hydration.

Sabi pa sa kanta ni Johnoy Danoy,

"Tulad ng hangin at tubig, kailangan kita"

Ang pag-ibig ay tubig. Kelangan natin para mabuhay. Hindi mo kakayanin ang ilang araw na walang tubig ang katawan. At hindi tatagal ang pusong magtiis kapag hindi makaramdam ng pag-ibig.

Tulad ng tubig na maraming anyo, ang pagibig ay madarama at makikita sa iba't ibang paraan. Mga tao, bagay o pangyayari. Ang pagibig ay nasa paligid lamang. Makikita at mahahanap tuwing kailangan.

Siguro nga pinagpala akong makatanggap ng tubig ngayong taon.

"Totoo na nga ba ito?" tanong ko na hindi mawaglit. Hanggang kailan masusustentuhan nitong tubig ang pusong nauhaw?

Panalangin sana ay masagot.

Pusong nasugatan nawa'y maniwala na sa katotohanan at tuluyan nang lisanin ang nadama sa nakaraan.😌

Ang drama ko na ba? Hahahahaha

Pasensya, uhaw lang talaga. 😂

2019 has been a great year, so much has happened. And i claim 2020 to be another bigger year, lots of victories ahead. 😁🙌

A year to start another volume of chapters, with -ships to sail, goals to be done, and more service for the Lord. 😌

12 days of 366. Bunch has already happened! Still have 354 days! And i cant be not excited about it! 😁 💛💙💖

Finally! Sa tanang buhay ko, nakompleto ko rin ang Misa de Gallo! 😂

Hindi ko pinipilit noon ang pagsimba ng alas tres dahil hindi nga ako nagigising ng maaga, alas tres pa kaya?

Then i met Ben and Ben. At pagdating ng Disyembre, bibingka month na. Before November ended, nainspire akong i-consider ang Misa de Gallo dahil sa kanta nilang Bibingka. 😆 nakaka-good vibes kasi, tipong gugustuhin mong mainlove. Beke nemen may magbigay na rin sa akin ng bibingka this year hahahaha the song motivated and pushed me to pursue the novena.

So thought of my intentions to pray for, i did, and i completed it! Pero walang bibingka. 😆

I was reminded then that more than the love in the song, and the possibility of a bibingka moment I've been waiting for, is the reason why we do this Misa, the True Love we are preparing and hoping for, the birth of Jesus.

You were so patient with me. Thank You for being with me through all the doubts and fears. Encouraged me when i needed it. Kahit na alam Mo na matigas ang ulo ko at hindi ako susunod Sayo, 😅 hindi Mo pa rin ako pinabayaan. 😌

Salamat sa taong ito. Years just kept getting better and more amazing, thanks for allowing me to reach and have this year, and thanks for all Your graces that helped me through. 😁

I honor Your hindi mapapantayang serbisyo sa tao. Ito bisan aram Mo nga kontra ka o makuri sira higugmaon, gihigugma Mo pa gihapon, ginserbihan. Tanan sa Imo pantay pantay, parapreho – mga bugto ug salaan. Salamat sa pagpili mga disipulo na dire perpekto, may chance pa talaga kami 😆 How could You have served without humility and not being obedient and not love what You do. Thank You for being our role model. Struggle is reeeaaaallll sa service!💪😆

Oo, linya ko an baton nga ‘dire ko aram nano kay sige ko la gihap Yes sa Imo’. Feeling ko wara lak talaga libang, or kay wara kasi iba, or ambot. But then it reminds me of purpose and reason. And i guess You’ve always driven that part of me. To be part of the few who will spend time in Your vineyard. Tho hindi talaga ako ganun ka sipag at galing magtrabaho 😅 help me through! Hahah

Christmas party on mid-January :)

--- ito yung Christmas party sana nung December kaso na-NOna kami kaya napostpone.

tapos walang isang araw ang preparation. tapos hindi kumpleto yung kids na umattend, at isa lang yung parent na nakadalo. MAS masaya sana yun kung lahat nakapunta, kaso lang rush preparation, hindi na na-move dahil sa schedules. :|

well, masaya pa rin naman, ako kaya nagprito ng hotdog! hahaha saka madami foods! namnam! :D

may narealize ako sa pagseserve ko at sa struggle ko sa school. it’s so good doing this kind of things. siguro mas nadadalian ako gawin yung mga ganto kesa sa reality ko -_-

December made me realize the good things that have happened. it made known to me the generous and good God i have...

...and how i have given back to Him --disappointing.

but! it made my heart’s desire stronger and motivated. change of heart is such a big thing to do. it happens to us all but the pace it took us differs -- for some it takes step by step early as they age, while for some it may took longer than it should be.

i am a latter. today, i will make my world know that i am going to change for the better - maturity and character growth, and the things i have to learn to move on with my life. 

let go! change heart! and let God! :D

the feels of an affirmation

or just i thought.. :)

this Christmas is a blast! our oldest sister being our “santa clause” really shook my being again.

i realized how blessed i am. blessed to have what i wanted through the people around me; blessed to have a good family and shelter; blessed to be serving the Lord; blessed to be provided for my education; blessed to experience and to know what i have to learn.

i realized how great is the goodness of the Lord. to save me from being doomed; to forgive my sins; to provide my needs; to give what i want; to give me happiness; to remind me to be good and what is good; to always look, search, and reach for me when i stray away; to bless me abundantly.

i realized i don’t do enough to please Him i sin. i don’t obey my parents; i don’t always do what is right; i entertain worry; i lie. i don’t serve my family well; i couldn't serve my neighbors well; i don’t take responsibility of my life, yet; i think too much; i don’t obey His words; i don’t know how much to love? i don’t give out my best in everything; i couldn’t put my best effort for Him.

this is an affirmation to change. to change my ways; to surrender totally and trust Him; to give my best; to enjoy life and love His people. to do and be good; to fulfill my deepest desires that will please Him; to achieve the core mission of my life; to be joyful in everything i do.

God is so great. so good. so amazing. everything around me is doing and going great that it goes back to me to remind me to do more, to love more, and to be more than who i am today.

celebration month! and we had the first weekend done with 2 Christmas celebrations! hahaha a family day and a C’Party ng cornerstone :D

kiddie time ang Pasko kaya may isa pang party ang gagampanan namin hahaha salamat kay Jesus, dahil sa kanya masaya ang ga bata pati na ako :D

isang taon na kahapon ang lumipas buhat ng isurrender ko kay Lord God ang manibela ng buhay ko. pero hindi maiwasan na agawin ko ulit ng ilang beses ang pagmamaneho sa loob ng taong nagdaan.

ang dami naming dinaanan. madami Siyang pinakita at pinadama, madaming aral na dapat matutunan. 

alam ko naman na simula’t simula Siya na ang may hawak ng buhay ko. pero ang mga desisyon ay nanatiling nakasalalay sa akin.

wala akong plano o mapa para sa kinabukasan. atang tanging choice pa lamang na meron ako ay ang plano ng Maykapal, at yun ay walang nakakaalam.
