Hello my dear followers!

I imagine most of you are probably fairly abandoned - it’s been a while - but to those still around, I wanted to let you know that I’m restarting my art blog at www.tumblr.com/blog/alkiillustrations

I ran this blog back as a teenager, and while it was going pretty well for a while, I ended up abandoning it for a few reasons. Being a little more settled now, art is something I’m excited to get back into :)

While this blog - Awreon - won’t be posting anything beyond this announcement, I really look forward to having you come follow my new blog as I rebuild. I already have several projects on the go, new designs & ideas to post! Come visit!

Love your art. I was born in 1988, but it was so early that I actually was still a rabbit. Growing up I thought I was a dragon, and was always disappointed at how un-dragon like my personality was, while my 'other' dragon friends were more like their sign. Then, when working with asians, I learned one Chinese new year that I was actually a rabbit. That was kind of weird, but it makes sense. If you follow that sort of thing that is...

Makes sense to me! I don’t think that I believe in astrology and Chinese horoscopes, but I always get so weirded out by how much I’m suited to Virgo & the rat sign. I don’t know a ton about the other Chinese signs, other than monkey, which my sister is. But I can imagine that the rabbit and dragon are probably in pretty stark contrast :P

hi, I am getting the little fox/constellation/flowers tattooed in August (after I save up for it a bit). I was just wondering what the constellation in the picture is? Thank you for being so generous with your art, it will be my first tattoo and I am so excited about it!

Hi! I’m so glad you like my art so much :) The constellation is based on Vulpecula, a fox constellation. It faces either way depending on the image you find of it, though I’m not sure if it actually flips in the sky. 

If you end up getting it tattooed, submit a picture of it to my blog! I’d only post it with your permission, of course.

Storenvy & Pinterest

I started up both a storenvy and a pinterest account! The pinterest was done with some nudging, but I've wanted to make a storenvy for a while so it was nice to finally get that set up :) Though it's still not open to the marketplace...

You'll find my (waterproof, dishwasher safe!) stickers on storenvy, if any of you have a boring mug/tablet/notebook that needs editing.

Okay so I'm the girl that is getting your chickadee with the flowers tattooed, remember? Well I am most likely getting it within the next month and I'm SO STOKED. And I'm gonna send you a pic right when it's done! I'm so excited that I actually found a perfect chickadee that I want on my body, cause I'm crazy picky about that kind of stuff. So thank you!
