My ideal ending for shameless was always them being altogether around a bonfire with frank doing a voiceover talking about how far they’ve all come and they did exactly that. It may not have been the best ending but they gave me what i wanted and i’m happy with that.

Shameless means so much to me. Even though the show hasn’t made the best choices in the most recent seasons, it has provided me with so much happiness and joy ever since I first started it back in 2017. I always go back and rewatch the earlier seasons because of the comfort it brings me and i’ll forever be grateful for that. Its made me feel less alone in times where my life hasn’t been the best and has brought me closer to people I never would have spoken to otherwise. It has given me my favourite fictional character mickey milkovich and taught me so much about love, acceptance and family. Mickey and Ian’s relationship will always have a special place in my heart. I’ve laughed, cried and definitely been annoyed at some storylines but i’m so thankful I was able to experience it alongside you all. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it and interacting with me. I love you all. Its definitely the right time to end it but its such a bittersweet feeling. I will miss it so much <3
