Azrael wasn’t in the habit of dating anyone other than his wife, but it was for charity and he recognized the face from the club that Neriah owned. He assumed that the pretty little thing would be fine with an night of no strings attached fun, with perhaps a reward at the end of the night if he deserved it. The angel heard the elevator doors of the hotel ring and he waited, standing in the opened arch way of the open balcony doors enjoying the cool feel of the night. He had a glass of wine in hand, savoring it before he turned to greet his date for the evening. “Nice of you to join me, Micah. Was your ride here well?” he asked, eyes skimming the human before resting on his face.
Colt hadn’t bothered signing up for the auctions, but Micah was, to be frank, bored. And even if he didn’t get paid for this, it was something to fill up an evening, or, if he was lucky, a night. And really, there were few things Micah hated more than being bored. So here he was, having made his way to the hotel address he’d been given, slowly entering the room. The gossip mill in town was a work of beauty sometimes, and he’d managed to figure out the man was, in fact, the husband Dina had been mentioning when she’d come into Neriahs club. That made the night only more interesting in Micahs eyes, and so he’d arrived on time for once, something that rarely happened unless he intended to meet his bosses, a client, or Colt. Stepping out of the elevator he’d been shown into, Micah glanced around briefly, before his gaze found the man standing out on the balcony. Stepping towards him, Micah smiled easily, nodding at the question. “It was, thank you. I hope you haven’t been waiting for too long.”
