I was reading the part where nico gets hit with an arrow by cupid and thought "hey, shouldn't he have a crush on jason since that's how those arrows work?" But I don't ship him and nico so I thought wouldn't it be funny if nico closes his eye after it in an attempt to not fall in love with whoever he sees but when they get back to the ship, leo makes some silly joke or something so nico looks at him to roll his eyes and Jason is just standing there like "So... you feel anything?" And nico is like “what”, but then he remembers

I have a Nico Di Angelo headcanon, it’s up to you to decide if they are logical.

Hear me out, I headcanon that he can feel people’s heartbeats. That’s why he’s so good in the dark cause he can hear heartbeats, so even in the dark he can feel if someone there by their heartbeat which probably helped in Tartarus cause it’s so dark. He doesn’t talk about Tartarus a lot so telling about his ability for that would kinda hurt him a bit cause the dark and hearing things die which is probably why he embraces death cause, he will still hear its last beat anyway. Another thing, if someone’s heart is racing he can tell they’re in trouble or if a soul died. Maybe it’s just because death and flat liners are a hades vibe.
