I have several other moomin drawing stuff my hyperfixation might return sometimes... I did a lil redesign for little Mys outfit and hair, because since drawing her went bad in my art style, I'll MAKE it work. Snufkin I also did some redesign, I'm actually relatively proud of this art for once.

The blush on snufkin and little my are mumble features in my hc, the lil circle cheeks. The antennae are for pure bred mymbles like little my, and the ear marking on snufkin is a mumric thing. The heart nose is just a design choice.

Although this is part a joke, she likes that she can "step on him" or "throw him around" figuratively. She still loves him tho. He absolutely sees her as his queen, and also kinda likes being "stepped on" or "thrown around" figuratively speaking.

Willow has never been serious with anyone. She doesn't feel emotions like most people. She didn't realize she was in love, and had to have her friends help her realize. She didn't know she loved him, she just knew she couldn't live without him.Wilson understands this, and makes sure to explain things in a way she'd understand, since she can't understand social cues. And since he's an emotional person, she has done ACTUAL RESEARCH ON HOW TO COMFORT SOMEONE WITH HIS TRAMUA. And listen, THAT is true love. Even if she doesn't realize.

Wickerwanda:

For my other two ships, I talked a bit Abt suggestive stuff. But they have a very wholesome relationship how I envision it. Not that they're against a relationship like that, but rather because they both require emotional bonds more then "physical". Also because both Willowson and Maxlie have relationships with heavy topics, which I enjoy sometimes, but can be overwhelming at times. So when I get overwhelmed by these complicated themes for someone with issues like I have, I come back to wickerwanda. As their relationship is more comforting. So there's not a high chance I'll post anything remotely suggestive about them. Because their relationship is MY comfort. Maxlie has their relationship, Willowson has theirs, both with complicated heavy topics.

Although Willowson is my OTP I think, Maxlie is one I find interesting, with themes I would like to expand in the future. And it's my oldest ship lol. Wickerwanda is my comfort ship. It makes me feel... Safe.

Anyway sorry for the tldr.

How Wickerbottom sees Wanda:

Wanda gains confidence with age, no particular reason tho. (Except maybe being in her youngest makes her feel less equal to Wicker. With age she feels more so.) Wicker sees her as adorable and affectionate, but also a nervous mess.

Wanda to wicker:

Wanda is absolutely lovestruck, so she sees past all of wickers issues. which is good, because Wickerbottom has become the support for basically %80 of the whole group. She loves this role, in taking care of people, but she never had people to go to when she herself was overwhelmed. That's why she needs Wanda! Wanda and Wickerbottom are equals, they're partners. Instead of wicker feeling like she has to take care of everyone. That's why I feel like her being in a relationship would benefit her mentally. As she has people she can go to, that she doesn't feel ashamed in talking about her own feelings with, because she doesn't feel the obligation to take care of them.

WICKER NEEDED A PARTNER ALL ALONG.

Anyway, these are my ships! I might post other ships for fun, but these are the only ones I actively ship and make content for.

I did Wurt and Walter so far. I might do the other three (Or four I might do Abigail if I feel like it) Because I didn't wanna do the kids, so they're adults in this picture. Walter still looks very much like a kid but that's probably just because I associate his design with water who is a kid obviously. So adult features don't make him look more grown. Or I'm terrible at drawing and I should quit. But it's probably not that. ALSO NOTICE THE HANDS ARE SLIGHTLY LESS AWFUL THEN USUAL PLEASE.

I don't love how Wurt came out, but I'm happy w/ Walter at least.

Okay, yesterday I mentioned in my wickerwanda HCs, that Wanda was just... Really mean to wicker before they were together, passive aggressive sometimes, or just plain cruel other times.

Atp I count this as pride bc it's my HCs for a queer couple, jus bc I'm hyperfixated on em. I have other pride posts in mind they're just not done yet.

Anyway here

Wanda doesn't know why shes mean to the gal she loves, but her friends get mad at her bc she's being straight up cruel. She has said much worse things to wicker, even bringing up her trauma at times.

And she doesn't feel bad until she's away from Wickerbottom. She knows it's not okay, she knows her trauma doesn't justify this, and she got therapy to help her understand why she's like this.

In reality her natural instincts are to push ppl she loves away, because she's scared of losing them. Because everyone she loved died. So her body is reacting by trying to push her away. Wanda Hates this part of herself.

And wicker doesn't understand it! She just knows Wandas being mean for what she thinks is no reason at all!

Anyway, dwdw they'll have a happy ending.

Okay, I know this is probably the ugliest one yet, but it's my favorite so far. The shading is okay, but the way I drew wicker makes me so happy. Wanda got so many clocks, she was very good this week.

This is kinda an angst thing, based on the fact that their timeline would have been the worst one for them to have been together.

Essentially, Wanda loves wicker, but she is scared to admit this, because if wicker doesn't support, she could tell everyone, and she could quite literally die for it.

You have to remember, they're a lesbian couple, consisting of a white person and a poc. (Sorry for bringing race into this but I am serious about how illegal this was)

I'm aware these shippers are pretty much only on tiktok, but I'm still posting it.

Eventually they somehow managed to communicate their feelings to one another, where Wanda was trying everything to convince wicker. Wicker loved her, but in her eyes, she doesn't want Wanda to risk her life for her, because she cares about her, and because she doesn't feel worthy of this risk.

Eventually, after they escaped the constant, (when this drawing took place) They still felt shame because of how they were raised. (Internalized homophobia on wickers behalf...) Not to mention, when they first had these mutual feelings, Wickerbottom communicated her feelings through the best way she can. So she took care of her, cleaned for her, the way she shows her love. But Wanda didn't know how to communicate this, so she was a total jerk to her. An absolute bully. Wicker cleaned her room, Wanda responded "Next time stick to your writing, sweetie." Wickerbottom wrote her a letter, Wanda responded "This is what you consider 'cute'? Funny. I'm showing all my friends." Wickerbottom was devastated, humiliated, and quite frankly: Super angry. So she stormed out of the house.

Wanda was confronted, and asked "what her problem is" To where she started bawling and saying she "didn't know what to say", everyone was mad at Wanda, because she was being awful. (And also cried when she was confronted??!) Until it comes out that Wanda is scared to admit she loves her, because everyone she ever loved; died horrible deaths. And she is trying to protect who she loves so much. Wanda eventually gets over herself with therapy, and tries to talk to wicker, who pushed her away. Because Wandas negativity, "Was making the bad thoughts return." This scared Wanda, made her think wicker would infact die terribly. So she distanced herself. The truth is, that Wandas negativity made her think of her abusive mothers cruelty. Finally they end up figuring themselves out, and got into a relationship. They had to start very slowly, and they had to be really careful at first, because both of them have attachment issues, in completely different ways.

The other issue, is explaining this relationship to the survivors. Some of em, like Winona and Warly found out, because they helped the ladies by taking care of them when they were going through this, but the rest of them grew up around very specific societal standards. But they weren't super afraid, because the survivors are weirdly accepting for the time they're from. Anyway, everyone found out, everyone supports, except Wagstaff. Nobody knows how he found out, but he still calls them an abomination idk man.

Aaanywayyyy. They are better now, and are a really sweet couple.
