Pan-Mass Challenge 2023 Components
A company that performs mechanical insulation contracting for commercial, industrial, and processing projects, Axion Specialty Contracting LLC, assists the local community by volunteering money and time to different cause areas. By sending employees to ride in the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC), Axion Specialty Contracting LLC funds the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Established in 1980, The PMC is a fundraising series of events with varied participation methods. In February of the given year, it announces that yearâs fundraising goal and begins the series with the PMC Winter Cycle, located in and operated by Boston-based spin instructors. The largest event occurs in August, with the 2023 incarnation lasting two days and offering route lengths from 25 to 200 miles. The PMC Unpaved version appears in September, lasts three days, and has two routes of either 30 or 50 miles across Massachusettsâ gravel trails.
Ridersâ eligibility stems from how much money they raised the prior year, with more lucrative riders earning priority registration. All volunteer proceeds aid the Dana-Farber Cancer Instituteâs research, comprising over 60 percent of its annual budget.
