Vincent was a bit frazzled as he gently bounced the three year old within his arms. Val was arriving home soon. Thank god..
Zen had a very difficult day today. She just wanted valentino and wanted nothing to do with Vincent. He sighed gently patting her back as he heard the front door unlock. Thank fuck he was home.
" Hello dear, how was your day..~ " he chimed approaching his partner.
Zen whimpered reaching out her arms to her papi.
" Paaapaaaaahaaaa~?! " my goodness she was very overwhelmed today.
" She, she kinda had a hard day today. I think her anxiety was bugging her.. I- I'm sorry val, I did everything I could to make her comfortable-?! " Vincent explained with nervousness.
{Val initially smiled, walking on and being greeted by his partner, he leaned in and kissed Vincent on the cheek}.
"Hey babe, my day was good how about-.. you?"
{He paused when he saw how Zen was reaching out to him, the look on her face}.
{He dropped his bag by the door and locked the top and bottom lock before lifting her into his own arms, giving her a kiss on the head as he did so}.
"Aw, you're okay, baby, you're okay, I promise," {he whispered sweet nothings into her ear}.
{Val smiled as Vincent started explaining himself like a guilty prisoner on trial, it was cute how much he cared}.
"It's okay, Vinnie," {he smiled}, "Sometimes she just gets anxious like this, it's not your fault, sometimes there really isn't anything you can do more than hold her and try your best to comfort her," {he tried to assure him}.
{He looked back down at Zen, now cuddling into his chest}.
"Wanna talk about it?" {He asked, rocking her softly in his arms}.
