Redrawing a background because the first one hurt me
First attempt was...rough. Weird perspective, bad lighting, you name it, and I'm new to background art and a bit rusty
After (final) & before (WIP) + my process below
So I binge watched other artists' art process videos and looked at a bunch of house references to get a better grip on perspective.
Starting with a stronger composition:
Better idea of lighting, shapes, hierarchy
Playing around with how much detail there can be before there's just too much and you don't know where to focus
With a final edit.. better than the first attempt! Anyone else relate?
