Pistachio Ice Cream Sundae
The word sword comes from the Old English sweord, cognate to swert, "to wound, to cut".
The sword is symbolic of liberty and strength. In the Middle Ages, the sword was often used as a symbol of the word of God. The names given to many swords in mythology, literature, and history reflect the high prestige of the weapon and the wealth of the owner.

Killian enjoyed the entire drive. Even if not much was said between them, they both knew they made a nice experience of it. Killian grabs the camera before he got out and followed after Bae. He smiled as he reached the boy.
The older man hadn’t realized how much he missed the beach until this very moment. The lovely breeze, the feel of sand under his shoes, the sounds of the waves rolling in, everything was so therapeutic and breath taking. Just this, made him so happy he consented to this trip.
Killian and Bae walked leisurely up to the shore. After that fast ride, this was the complete opposite. All was quiet, slow and perfectly relaxing. As the two of them strolled closer to the waves, the five o’ clock sun was already making its slow descent, casting an orange glow on the horizon.
"Want to sit by the shore?" Killian asked Bae who was walking close by his him.
"Only if I pick the spot." Bae says with a chuckle, looking up at Killian with his eyes smiling. It was ridiculous how happy and free he felt right now, not minding in the slightest that he might be acting more childish than he usually was.
He turns to keep walking farther along the length of the shore, but then he remembers something and faces his uncle again.
"And I believe the captain has put me in charge of taking photos." he states playfully with mock authority, holding out both his hands as he waited for Killian to give him the camera.
Once it was in his possession, he continues walking slowly, stopping briefly every now and then for a shot or two of the horizon and to wait for the older man to walk alongside him.
There were a couple of people scattered around the beach, some lying on the sand, others by the umbrellas near the stands where a radio was playing and a few playing in the water. Bae kept on walking until they were at a nice area where the sound of the waves was louder than the music.
"Here." he declares, bending down to take off his sandals before sitting cross legged on the sand.
"I trust you."
"I should hope so by now, Bae."
"I just thought you should know that even if I'm not fond of magic, I still believe in good magic, like yours."
Killian was settled comfortably in the driver seat with his seat belt and sunglasses on - all set for the long yet relaxing drive.
As the Skoda Yeti cruised the freeway, Killian realized how it had been a while since he drove this far. He had indeed planned trips like this in his head but rarely got to push through with it.
Several times he glanced at Bae tinkering with the buttons on the dashboard, and it was at one moment that it became clear to Killian what had been lacking in his life: a curious and special companion. He smiled as he saw the young man fidget in his seat and look out the window, evidently fired-up about this outing. He saw himself in Bae in many ways, but mostly it was the boy’s spirit for adventure that he enjoyed the most. It felt so good to find a companion in Bae, and he only had to look at the boy’s face to know that he too felt the same.
The smile on his face brightens when Bae asked him if he could put down the window. That was very much like him too.
"Of course," was Killian’s pleased reply. It took only one button at his side to activate the automatic windows. Both his and Bae’s window sunk into the car door and the wind rushed in instantly, mussing both their hair. Bae’s uncle’s smile grew wider at the sight of his beautiful curls being blown in all directions. Playfully, he steps on the gas making the wind inside the car move wilder, as the car picked up speed, to the point that it almost felt like they were flying.
Bae squinted as the strong breeze pleasantly hit him and made his hair bounce in all directions. He would occasionally tuck back strands of hair that clung to his face and when Killian steps on the gas, he glances to the older man with a mischievous grin. Killian looked like he was having fun too and the simple joy in it all made Bae laugh in that hearty, boyish way he rarely did. As his laughter died down, he leant back in the seat, savouring the coolness of the air.
There was a peaceful, relaxing quiet between them until they reached the seaside. The beach smell wafted in through their open windows as Killian maneuvered the car into the parking spot some distance from the actual shore. As soon as the windows rolled back up and the engine died, Bae struggled to unfasten his seatbelt and hurried out of the car with a smile.
He waited for Killian to get out while he glanced around, taking note of how little things had changed from the parking area since the last time he'd been here.
Bae: ...Where is she?
Rum: I left her and the rest of them aboard Hook's ship.
Bae: Wait, Hook as in my ex-boyfriend Hook?
Rum: what.
Bae: what.
"I want off this ship, pirate!”
I did a thing…

Celeste (Or Caleb, his “Storybrooke name”) sat quietly at Granny’s diner with a book in hand. He looked up when he saw someone approach him.
Neal was on the 2nd day of his little science project and he'd already interviewed Ruby. The only other person in the diner was a guy some years older than him that he saw around but didn't know personally. It was a bit embarrassing but he approached the man's table anyway.
"Excuse me...? This might sound kinda weird and you could totally refuse if you're busy-- but do you mind answering a question or two for science?"
[stares at you]
"Is uhm... is there something on my face?"
"Oh no! I forgot my keys inside my house…!"
"Really? Oh, well then-- would you like me to help? We could call a locksmith..."
"Sometimes I just wanna lock myself up in my room and never go out again, y'know...?"
