I’ve just realized that you shouldn’t have to sacrifice your mental health just to please people. Of course you’re going to make someone mad or annoyed. You can’t be on everyone’s good side at all times, and that’s OK. It’s a part of life. I just want to remind everyone that it is OK to miss out on a practice or take a day off from school just to rest and regenerate because pushing yourself too far is unhealthy. Mental health is still health. Just because it can’t be seen does not mean it is not valid. It is important and we must take care of ourselves because whether it be mental or physical, just remember to put health first.
