Struggling.

Can I be real? I’m struggling right now.

It’s so hard.

I can’t seem to get a handle on my pride.

It’s my tragic flaw...

I have so much pride... so so much it’s ridiculous.

I have people I no longer speak to- for months now, because they did something to offend my pride.

When I was young(er), I interpreted this as having high standards and a low tolerance for bs.

But now, wisdom is revealing it to be excessive, overzealous pride.

Cleanse me, Lord.

I truly don’t want to remain the same detached, unforgiving person.. it’s not good for my spiritual health nor my mental health.

But dammit I am my fathers’ daughter.
