Simulation d'attaque terroriste au cœur de Paris - 20minutes.fr

Un attentat terroriste dans une grande gare française? C'est l'une des craintes des autorités françaises. Dans la nuit du mardi 19 au mercredi 20 avril, les forces de l'ordre ont simulé une telle attaque à la gare Montparnasse. Un exercice grandeur nature dont l'idée était d'améliorer la coopération entre unités et de permettre leur arrivée rapide lors d'une attaque «multisites», comme celle qui a fait 130 morts le 13 novembre 2015 à Paris et Saint-Denis, en faisant fi des rivalités et des compétences territoriales.

Japanese type 1 paratrooper rifle | GunLab

This rifle  was developed in 1941. It was a basic modification to the type 38 carbine. To accomplish this modification the stock was cut behind the trigger guard at the wrist location. A large metal hinge was added  with a corresponding latch on the opposite side of the stock. This allowed the buttstock to be folded so that it could be transported on the solders jump pack.

The type was a limited rifle fabricated for experimental use only. It is estimated that only 200-300 pieces were made.  There are no characters or numbers noted on any of the type 1’s indicating the modification.

Special Weapons SW45

U.S made HK MP5 clone but chambered in .45 ACP, a caliber the MP5 was never available in. You can see where the original magwell was cut and the new one was welded in place. SW45′s use the M3 Grease Gun magazines. Note that the receiver in the photos is a cast stainless steel model, it’s all one solid piece, not a stamped steel flat that was bent into shape. Not sure what the reliability is like on these but Special Weapons has a somewhat shoddy and tainted reputation. (GRH)
