Review: TheBalm Cosmetics Mary-Lou Manizer

Hey everyone hope you’re all doing well! 

I recently purchased the cult favourite highlighter The Mary-Lou-Manizer by TheBalm and after using it it’s easy to see why it is a cult favourite!! I know there are heaps of reviews on this product all over the internet but I just wanted to put my 2cents in! I purchased mine from David Jones (if you’re in Australia) or it is available on several online stores (e.g. Amazon/TheBalm website). Like most reviews you’ll read this is an amazing product and is 100% worth the hype. The packaging is super cute (like everything TheBalm make) and you get 8.5 grams of product which is great because it’s very heavily pigmented so you really don’t need much for each application. A little bit definitely goes a long way so make sure when your applying it you start off with a small amount of product and you can always add more to intensify the highlight, depending on the look your going for. That’s the thing I ♡ about it! You can add a small amount for a daytime glow or quite a bit for a night out making it super versatile. It’s a classic gold-ish highlight so it suits a majority of skin tones and blends in well to the skin/foundation base. It retails at around $35 at David Jones but I purchased mine during the mid-season sale so with 30% off it came down to around about $24 which I think is awesome for the quality of the highlight. On TheBalm website it is $24 and they ship worldwide so feel free to check out the link if your interested or you could find it on amazon and eBay. If your in the US Hautelook is a Flash Sale Site (which is part of Nordstrom) and sell’s products by TheBalm and I’ve heard many bloggers say that they have 30-50% off sales on their products a couple of times a year so check that out to save some $$$! Overall, this is an awesome product especially at the relatively low price point and definitely worth purchasing or at least swatching at your local stockist!
