“Okay, okay, two things. One: Honest, how much would you buy this for? Two: Your new friends getting married, you’re invited and when you get there you see their future partner is yours or someone you’re close to recent, multiple-night stand. What do you do?” 

“I would need to know more about the artist.” he said, taking a closer look at the work before him. Most of the art hanging on his wall he simply bought them because he liked them. Sure, some people he truly admired their work and movement. But when it came down to it, he simply liked having something that no one else had, whether that was a hundred years old painting or newer work by an undescovered gem. “As for your second question, I’ve been there. You do nothing. Why ruin someone’s wedding simply because you’ve fucked their partner? Unless you’re trying to be the one married to that person, you’re stirring up drama for no reason. You wish them well and move on.”

I know we’re only in the beginning of September and school has just started, but all things autumn have completely taken over my brain. I may have already even started a Pinterest board of ideas for a Halloween party to throw for my kiddos in class once October rolls around. Is anyone else as eager for the weather to cool down as we ease into the fall season or are you mourning the ending of summer? @merrock​

“Oh you’re one of those.” Aydin said, playfully rolling his eyes at the young woman. “I am definitely in mourning. I feel like this was the shortest summer yet.” He probably said the same thing every year, but the summers in Maine just truly never felt long enough. The cold air was always just around the corner. “My daughter’s just like you though. She’s always started showing me costumes ideas for Halloween.”

“The amount of times I have heard people come into What’s the Tea and ask for coffee makes me want to scream. How do people not know? It’s literally in the name of the store.” Maverick threw her head back in the chair as she covered her hands with her face out of desperation. “I mean, seriously. I’m going to put a sign on the counter that says WE ONLY SERVE TEA, that way I can save my voice.” @merrock

Aydin chuckled lightly, having heard her previous interaction with a customer. "Can you blame them? Coffeeshops sell tea and they're -you know- coffeeshops." The man said, choosing to be a devils advocate, as he sat on a nearby table reviewing his emails on his laptop. “I don’t think it’s too much to ask.” he said with a small smirk on his face. In all reality, he actually preferred it this way. Coffeeshops were far too busy and not the ideal place to go to get some quick work done.
