“Well someone's demanding,” he laughed before he cupped her face in his hand, and kissed her. Kissing her felt right, more right than anything he could think of at the moment . He pulled his face back from her “Now can I ask you a question?”

Catalina felt her cheeks redden slightly as she realized that she did, in fact, sound demanding.  But she couldn't help it.  She honestly couldn't.  She had always wanted Dex to kiss her.  Ever since . . well, as long as she could think back.  She wanted to feel him kiss her, to know he felt the same way about her.  Was it vain?  Maybe a little, but she couldn't help that either.  Catalina seemed to not be able to help doing anything now.  The real question was whether or not that was a good thing.  He pulled away, a little too soon to be honest, and asked her if he could ask her a question.  She laughed lightly and teased, "You didn't give me a choice there, did you, love?"  She flashed him a flirty smile before nodding seriously, "Of course you can.  Ask away."

Catalina let out a light laugh, going over to sit next to him. She wasn’t laughing at him, or anything of the sort. She was laughing at herself more than anything. He calmed her nerves a bit, but she was still nervous. Very nervous. But at the same time excited. She looked down at her hands in...

She let out a light sigh of relief as a smile made it's way onto Dex's face again. His smile was contagious and she found a shy smile on her own lips. "You are," She laughed oh so lightly, her voice fairly quiet and her hands still shaking a bit. "Really?" Catalina raised an eyebrow at him, "Then kiss me."

Ever since Dexter and his long term girlfriend had broken up in high school he was sure nothing would ever be better or even as good. When he reached university he was sure his life would continue on the exact same way. But suddenly a girl came along who made his stomach hurt, who made him actually think before he spoke, who made him happy to talk to. Catalina was better than his ex. Everything was, he wanted her to know so badly . 

Sitting in his room studying for midterms, he felt a pair of eyes on him. It was Catalina looking at him, for the seconds he contemplated looking back to her he felt the room stretch and stretch till they were as far away as possible , in a panic to end the distance he looked up. He stared straight into her beautiful eyes, letting his feelings take over, he couldn’t look away . She just asked him for help on a problem, think fast he thought . “Yeah sure, i’m open to helping you with problems” Suddenly he realized just exactly how unsmooth that was of him to say.

Catalina let out a light laugh, going over to sit next to him.  She wasn't laughing at him, or anything of the sort.  She was laughing at herself more than anything.  He calmed her nerves a bit, but she was still nervous.  Very nervous.  But at the same time excited.  She looked down at her hands in her lap, which were shaking very gently.  She had no way to start this at all.  How do you jump right into something like this?  "Well there's this guy . ." She mentally cringed at that, how cliche of her to say.  "And I like him a lot, but I don't know what to do or how to tell him."  This of course wasn't exactly the truth.  She knew exactly how to talk to guys.  "And, uh. ."  She was blanking.  With a great amount of courage, she leaned forward a bit, resting her hand on his cheek- she kissed him.  She didn’t kiss him very long and when she pulled away, Dex looked very surprised.   “I’m sorry,” She whispered, “I just had to."

Catalina Turner was losing her mind.  If it wasn't official before, it sure is now.  She was losing her mind, and along with it went her common sense, her sanity and her ability to think straight.  Why was she losing her mind, you may ask.  It was all because of one guy.  She had never, ever gotten so flustered around a guy that she couldn't even form a sentence.  She had grown up with four older brothers, for goodness sake!  They taught her everything she'd ever need to know to be able to talk to a guy and have him hanging off her every word.  Usually it was the guy who couldn't think straight, not her.  But Dex changed that.  He had complimented her.  He had only complimented her, and she all but melted right then and there.  She was complimented all the time.  Nate alone complimented her at least a million times a day.  So why was Dex's compliment so . . different?  

And now he was sitting on his bed just across the room from her.  Sitting on his bed.  Studying some big text book.  Their room looked like it was split right down the middle.  One half looked like Dex and the other screamed Catalina.  Both sides were incredibly neat.  She glanced up at him, and his gaze followed hers until they were looking directly at each other, blue eyes meeting brown ones.  It could have been Catalina's craziness but she swore that they looked at each other for more than a normal amount of time.  "Hey," She said quietly, pausing for a moment before asking, "I have a problem . . Can you help me?"
