Wine improves with age, I improve with wine 🤫 wine tasting was so much fun this weekend☺️🍷 huge thanks to @ramosrosie12_ for showing me around her hometown this weekend! 😌 (at Treveri Cellars)
I’m officially done with my first quarter of nursing school! I’m free (for 6 weeks) and feel on top of the world!😄 thank you to everyone who has and continues to support me throughout this journey, I honestly would not be here without you all💛and to my fellow APNI cohort, #IPASSEDPATHO 😭🙌🏽 (at Downtown Seattle)

This is probably the longest poem I’ve ever written. There are more to come. Thank you to those who reach out and continue to ask me to share. I benefit enough from just writing but your words help me too❤️ thanks for letting me vulnerable. This is also a self love post to remind you that it’s okay to feel what you’re feeling. If it’s bad know it will pass...if it’s good appreciate it while it lasts. Life lessons. Link in bio❤️ #poetryblog #selflove #poem (at Seattle, Washington)
So unbelievably grateful for all the good people in my life, old friends and new!❤️ I had so much fun celebrating with you all! Starting off this new chapter with amazing people by my side, how lucky am I😊 and thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! ☺️ (at Seattle, Washington)
You’re an infinite soul residing in a body🖤 (at Aston Manor)
Poetry is literally one of the only outlets I have right now to express the craziness in my life. Or try to at least. So much creativity blossoms out of deep emotions. I know I feel way too easily, and way too much sometimes. But writing it out, makes it feel okay❤️ if you haven’t check out my poetry blog yet, link is in the bio 😌 (at Cannon Beach, Oregon)
Snacks come in all sizes💁🏽♀️#hotfireflames 🔥 (at Seattle, Washington)
Love note: Recognize who you are. You are one of a kind. You’re a soft soul with a heart of gold and eyes that make people lose track of time. This exciting journey you’re on is just starting so take your time and don’t worry because no one can stop your shine. Protect your heart, grow your mind, and everything else, will come with time❤️ -m.r “I know you so well, so well” (at Seattle, Washington)
Today was my last day at The Gardens at Juanita Bay! I’ve been working at this assistant living since December 2011, my junior year of high school starting as a kitchen aid. I graduated high school with my CNA and started working the day I turned 18 as a care giver. I would work 20+ hours a week here during college with the majority of these being weekends with 16hr shifts and a 15-20 credit course load. My junior year of college I would acquire my medication technician certificate and start administering meds and with that growing my skills in nursing and communication. I have been able to say bye to some residents here that have seen me grow since the very beginning. And some that I hold a fond memory of who have either moved or passed away. I left today with excitement, for the new opportunities and experiences I am about to have in grad school, and also sadness to say goodbye to those I have cared for for so long. Most importantly though I feel proud. I have accomplished so much here, this place wasn’t just a stepping stone but a test to my dedication, to keep pushing, to keep growing, to keep learning, and to always care, showing me the importance that even the simplest tasks can make all the difference to our elderly. This post is dedicated to the staff and residents, thank you for everything❤️ (at Kirkland, Washington)
“When god gives you a new beginning don’t repeat old mistakes. One reason people resist change is because they focus more on what they have to give up rather than what they have to gain. Let go and let god!” I’ve been so nervous about all the changes that are going to happen in my life in the next couple weeks. Like terrified about the things I could potentially lose. However I failed to recognize all the things I will gain from making these steps to better my future. We can’t control what’s going to happen a couple months from now but after reading this I feel at ease. Like I finally breathed. No matter what happens, it’s going to be okay❤️ (at Green Lake)
Nothing hurts anymore, I feel kinda free🙌🏽 (at Green Lake, Seattle)
I can do bad on my own and good by myself...I never needed no help☝🏽outfit: @fashionnova of course😉 #novababe (at Seattle, Washington)

“But I’m only human, I know loving you’d a crime. If I take this cookie now one day I’ll do the time” -J.Cole 🙌🏽 a little something that influenced my new poem up on the blog! Check it out😊 (at Seattle, Washington)
