So I just visited London with my friends and we tried to cram in as much as possible in the few hours we had! First stop was Camden for some food which was AMAZING! We all went to different stalls to get food which all looked and smelled amazing!
I mean LOOK at those loaded fries!!
The next stop was Piccadilly Circus then a walk to Buckingham Palace which felt like such a long walk on a busy Saturday in London but it was nice to get off of the underground for a while!
So after Buckingham palace we walked to Westminster along the edge of the park which was so nice. Such a beautiful park right in the middle of a busy city.
So we saw Big Ben and Westminster then moved on to the London eye. We didn't go on as the queue was so long so we chose to go on the London Dungeons instead. The dungeons were great but definitely not something to do if you're in a rush! The queue time was about 30 mins then the actual dungeons took about an hour and a half. It was worth the wait and we had a lot of fun. There were so many squeals and so much laughter so would definitely recommend it!
After the dungeons we all needed a seat so we started walking along the Thames and came across the underbelly festival on southbank. We stopped off here for a drink and loved it. The sun was shining and they have set up the area to look like a massive garden with picnic benches and giant flowers. It was amazing.
After this we all got peckish and headed to Trafalgar Square for some food at prezzo which came out so quickly we were so impressed!
This was our last stop on the trip so we did miss out on some sights but we probably could have fitted them in instead of the dungeons so all in all you could definitely fit all of the main sights into one day or just start earlier than we did as we never arrived until around 12:30pm.
Would definitely recommend this for a weekend away as there is so much to do and see and the underground connects everything amazingly.
