Presentation slides from 2012.
Screenshots of a mindmap that I made in 2008 for a PhD research update.
Presentation slides from a talk I gave in Trondheim, Norway in 2009.
A coding accident on tumblr gave me this and I loved it so much I took screenshots of it. I do hope that tumblr doesn’t auto-correct the glitch that gave me this wonderful deconstruction! http://twilightavatars.tumblr.com/
My version of Plutchik’s Wheel of Emotions.
A wall calendar which I made in 2011 as a gift to friends and colleagues.
My website looked like this in 2002.
A flash site I made a long time ago for this project: https://asemicavatar.blogspot.com/ This was 3000 pixels wide and the idea was that people would scroll left to right. Probably never worked...
A website homepage I made sometime around 2005.
Diagram which shows the relationship between Johan Huizinga’s thoughts on art as a form of “play” and three dimensionally embodied virtual world avatars.
Screenshots from a video I made in which I showed the changes in appearance of my avatar Alpha in relationship to Mori’s Uncanny Valley graph, which is shown on the bottom left corner. Read more about the project here >>>
This was made in order to set up a correlation between Masahiro Mori’s famous “uncanny valley” graph in Robotics and an experiment I made by changing my Second Life avatar’s appearance from completely non-human to almost human to "healthy” human.
This is actually the second part of the presentation where I talk about alt avatars in virtual worlds. With these slides I try to set up a relationship between avatar constellations and second order cybernetics.
Slides that I made for a presentation explaining the interplay of alt avatars in virtual worlds. I placed the same diagram on a series avatar photographs that I took in Second Life so that during the presentation when I went from one slide to the next the background image changed but the diagram stayed in place while I talked about how the relationship between alt avatars actually works.
Gray’s Anatomy project from 2003. I made the architecture in Bryce (no longer exists) and then took screenshots which I placed into a flash site. The pop up windows allowed viewers to see closeups of the environment.
