what is beneath our feet

just a bunch of ideas and concepts, my headcanon is that beneath Pelican Town there's an intricate cave system that extends throughout the valley, full of mysteries and lost history, perhaps that's part of what makes the valley so special.

(The idea was inspired by the mutant bug lair, if a biome like that can develop so close to the city, who knows what might be beyond?)
