Blue and gold, wolf pack, and the crossroads of the world

Today is the anniversary of Türkiye’s founding. Traveling in Istanbul, I've gained a deeper appreciation for the architecture and history. The figure is mainly inspired by my bf. To showcase cultural exchange, it featured a blend of Ottoman miniatures and European oil painting, incorporating patterns from Iznik tile, manuscript illumination and enamel craft.

The country is going through a hard time right now, I hope this can help cheer people and that things get better in the future <3
