Bipedal? Quadruped? Both? This creature looks like a sleek mass of shadow. It has thin, stilt-like legs and large, paw-like hands. Its head looks like a strange mix of rabbit, fox, and cat. Its four, glowing eyes open and closing. No nose is visible. The mouth is jagged and glows.

Im slightly sad that not only is my set untouched so far, but I also dont have enough money to swipe one for my self. At the same time, I actually feel very happy for those that are getting theirs swiped. All the sets are amazing, a good majority by better and more popular artists than me. It makes me wanna cry just thinking about what pet i’d want if I had the money for them. Theres too many to choose from qwq

On a side note: I have an Ultimate PLBC Pack and would love to snatch a Teo/Oet Pair for that <3 If anyone wouldnt mind me doing that, lemme know~

......Also, did anyone else notice that Teo and Oet are the same word but backwards?

Hmm.

Anyone know if there’s an item that can be used to add edits to a finished SBC? My last SBC is in the process of being based, but I wanted to know if there’s a way to add edits before they’re founded.

If there’s not, has anyone even suggested this yet? Like, a Fox Pen for SBC?

They came back! ‘March Awakening’ Finx came back at a nice 16%!

And ‘Kingly Plush’ Oske came back at a super surprising 43%! I thought he’d at least be minimum gold (51%).

This is how I decide Edits now

I literally just grab a random word generator, shuffle through a few lists and pick words that would go nice together.

The hard part? Finding a proper genus for the edits. =w=;

Finally finished the first Premade for the new ‘March Awakening’ Finx PSD!

This will be a cycled PSD, leaving shop at the end of March! It may not re-enter shop till next March, but I’ll still toss it in Pumpkins, Stockings, and maybe raffles!

So I followed Kirara’s Shading tutorial cus I suck at shading and….. Holy shit am I proud now <3

Still waiting for her to come back from Crystal Check before putting her in shop :)

It specifically states on that tutorial that "This tutorial is for learning purposes only, and for use on work relating to Kirara’s bases…It is NOT intended as a drawing tutorial for copying or emulating the look and style of Kirara’s work in other Aywas-related or non Aywas-related paid work.” This isn’t a Kirara base, ergo, you really shouldn’t be using her shading style?

I was just really happy to find something helpful because I suck at shading and dont even know how to start doing it. I was just using the techniques shown to attempt shading in my own way.

But if people (especially Kirara) are bothered about this, I will redo the shading though.

Hey all, this was brought to my attention and firstly I want to say thank you to @seacrest-plays for encouraging people to adhere to the rules posted on my tutorial! It seems I need to clarify a little: The disclaimer is meant to keep people from attempting “rip-off” designs, ie: Kirara look-alikes. From the looks of this pet, I don’t believe @aywasblankmask had any intentions of creating a rip-off of my style. They were probably just trying some of the techniques I showed in the tutorial - which I wholeheartedly encourage for practice and learning! What I would be truly concerned about, is if someone followed my methods so closely that their art could be honestly mistaken for my own. As a small-time artist, the recognizably of my work is very important. Someone using tips on how I do things and adapting it into their own style is very different from someone attempting to copy every aspect of my art. Thankfully this has not been a problem, and I hope it never becomes one, hence the disclaimer! <3

I just added the airbrushing to my usual shading, so Im not at all trying to copy you. And I would be worried about style copying too as it is one of the ways you can tell who did what. If someone tried to copy your style, it’d be really hard to tell if you actually did it or not. And honestly, @kiraraneko‘s style needs to be recognized from afar and without mimics because LOOK AT THE STUFF.

@kiraraneko But I have to greatly thank you for not only clarifying this for myself and others (I was genuinely worried rip), but also have to thank you for creating such a wonderful tutorial. When it comes to shading, I am at a total loss unless I do 100% cell shading and it just looks so blocky with that. I never thought about using the air brush, so thank you! Now I can continue making edits without pulling my hair out each time. Keep making beautiful things because omg they really do deserve being Rock Crystal pets! <3
