I find it charming when characters are assigned a color as like, part of their identity, but it's also interesting seeing what colors are prioritized when that happens, espc in text descriptions? most obvious example I would say is starscream/skywarp/thundercracker, who are well known to be red/purple/blue, but are actually labeled on their cartoon model sheets as 'silver jet'/'black jet'/'blue jet'. rarely does anyone describe starscream as 'silver' over 'red', which makes sense considering the bulkiest part of his body is bright red, but skywarp is like 90% NOT purple. it's like purple is such a striking color that it demands much more attention than the space it takes up. when artists teach about color there's a lot to say about the temperature or chroma or mood of each hue, but maybe there's a certain value of attention each has... you might need a lot less purple to make a piece have a 'purple feel' rather than, say, blue or red. human brains are cool
Any queer man in fiction can’t have a healthy relationship. All they know is pining, divorce, cause the apocalypse, wear silly costume, fight they homo boyfriend, trauma, be disastrous, eat hot chip & lie.
As an adult I think me and all my friends should all have matching schedules and work like 20 hours a week and also everyone lives within 15 minutes of each other why is that so much to ask
