Hello! My name is Azaleos and I’m an artist who mainly draws fanarts for musicals, classiclit, and fantasy.

My main fandoms are lesmis, arthuriana, lotr, and currently asoiaf/akotsk. I also drew a few history (frev) arts and OC art too^^ This is my first time going on tumblr, so nice to meet you!

This scene is so funny to me, because look at them! That's a "don't look at eachother because you know you'll break if you do" reaction. And that's so funny to me. Im having visions of the in court and just full body turning away from eachother as soon as Lord Whatshisface starts speaking, because they know they can handle him on their own, but if they see that the other is finding it funny, then it's game over

when maekar said "he can change, he will change, or i swear i'll see him dead" and daeron didn't change because he couldn't change and maekar did end up seeing him dead. when he saw daeron's body one last time did he kiss his forehead like he used to when he was a baby and regret what he said?

I vaguely remember a version of Palomides where he doesn’t convert at the end. Does anyone know which prose that’s from? Been trying to find it with no avail, asking for a friend! 😔🙏

Le Morte d'Arthur is honestly so validating as someone who is very likely faceblind and can't recognize people for shit because no matter how many times I have no idea who I'm talking to it can't be worse than every single person person not recognizing Tristram in disguise. Like cmon Dinadan that's your buddy who's top hobby is telling everyone "I shall not tell you my name at this time" I think you know who it is

Suppinabiles: Oookay. Anyway, good news! He's finally stopped sleeping with his uncle's wife and gotten married. His wife is also named Isolde. Kind of weird, but whatever.

Lancelot: WHAT?! He's cheating on his married girlfriend?! This is a BETRAYAL of the code of knighthood!

Suppinabiles: I would have thought sleeping with your liege-lord's wife would be a betrayal of the code of knighthood.

Lancelot: Tristram and I are now mortal enemies! In fact, you march right back to Cornwall and tell him that we're not best friends who have never met anymore!

Suppinabiles: Sure. Alright. I can't believe this is my only role in the story.
