Day 2 at the annual medieval conference. A slower day for me, the 12 solid hours yesterday (which included business meetings etc as I am a part of the Medieval Association of the Midwest) so I feel like I got hit by a bus. A couple panels, some selections I'm the vendor hall including a new Marie de France collection, some cute picture books, stickers, a cat coloring book, and a couple fun shirts including one with the names of Black Arthurian characters including my favorites Palamides (medieval) and Bree (modern), and a Grendel's mother/Stacy's mom mash up

Really important arthuriana question:

I vaguely remember a version of Palomides where he doesn’t convert at the end. Does anyone know which prose that’s from? Been trying to find it with no avail, asking for a friend! 😔🙏

I think Agravaine and Palomedes are friends but it's so low-key that most don't connect the dots that they're always sitting next to eachother, and share a horse (her name is Ovar).

DINADAN HIIIIIIIIIIIII SIR! today is dinadan appreciation hours. if you havent gotten dinadanned out could i request dinadan but like being super mean i think he deserves to be so mean --R

HI SORRY I GOT SO CARRIED AWAY here is one of my favorite dinadan scenes from tavola i just love them they are all friends. also bonus cus his exchnage w isolde right after this is SO FUNNY CUTE
