Greetings and Throm’ka everyone to the friends, allies and supporters of the Azeroth Peace Council.
As of the 18th the Azeroth Peace Council has closed it’s doors to the public and will no longer be recruiting or be an active community. It has been a long and emotional journey going through this, and it brings myself no joy in carrying out this message. But sadly the APC is closed.
I, and we at the council, want to thank everyone who has been there for us and supported us throughout the years we‘ve been in operation. I want to thank you all so so much for the kind gestures many of you have shown. Every donation that has helped fund events, every visitor and event attendee, those who promoted us and saw us as a guild worth recognizing. You have made us feel like a part of the world of Azeroth and helped us in the goal to bring kindness and understanding for all types of players.
We’ve had our rough patches, as any group does, and are certainly in no way perfect - but it was always the goal to be as good as we could be for the players who inhabited this universe we all love so much. All of the people who have been with us and still spoke of our name, we cannot thank you enough.
We know that there was a point where activity on this platform began to dip, there was a point where things started to become too overwhelming and maintenance was getting harder and harder to work and change. Over all, even in the imperfections and the many ideas and concepts that could not be done, we are proud of what we were able to do in the time we did. I am proud for what was able to be done.
This blog will remain a relic. For the good, for the hard times and the memories we cherished in the years this guild was operational. So asks and submissions are inactive, as this blog is now a capsule.
I give one last thank you to those who supported us, the guild and the people who gave it life with all their personalities and stories as this was made possible because of you.
Thank you all once again, and for the final time...
Aka’magosh, farewell, and may you all continue to be kind and promote peace in the community.
”You hear word of a gathering or a flyer on your stroll through Dalaran or Ratchet. It invites all those neutral, peace seeking or open minded organizations and individuals to gather and discuss publicly about different peace and neutral related topics.”
Introducing Azeroth Peace Council’s alternating month public event:
The Peace Summit is a month alternating neutral event on the first Friday of the months it lands on. This welcomes in other organizations and guilds who seek neutral efforts and peace to speak about current events on Azeroth. Things such as worries for the present, future and all that we can do (Or possibly not do).
Why?: Communication with other guilds with like minded interest , forming bonds and friendships and a way to connect with other groups that focus on neutral efforts, or even learn what they’re up to. Followed by this, a goal to have an immersive outlet for characters to express thoughts and solutions of things happening and feel have a vocal part in where the story is at.
Who?: All neutral , cross faction and peace seeking guilds who have want to discuss about solutions for the future. (Individuals can come too.)
There is no discord for this, nor are there plans for one currently
>>Coming up: March 5th 6:30 PM ST<<
Next: May 7th
Past: Sept 4th
Location: Left outer wing of Utgarde Keep, Howling Fjord. Large open space is general mingling before and after the meeting, the circular platform is the meeting space.
Utgarde Keep is NOT being used ICly
Over all guidelines:
- There should be at least one dedicated speaker for each organization so everyone doesn’t talk over each other.
-Elixir of Tongues is a must.
-CrossRP addon, while not a must- is a huge help in seeing cross faction TRPs.
- Please do not be purposefully antagonistic (maybe someday with coordination, but this event is new and I’d like to focus on its purpose)
- Please keep OOC talk in whispers and parties.
(New!) FAQs
Hey friends and fans of the Azeroth Peace Council, with the start of the new year the council over all will be taking a bit of a soft hiatus.
What this means is, we will not be heavily planning on working on events right now (but we do still have plenty planned and lined up on things we'd like to do.) Over all, we just need a breather and some time off until we start things back up again.
We'll still be around! But when this will lift is unsure. We're still looking to have our proper March Peace Summit, and we will update you all should anything change.
Thank you all for being supportive, and stay safe out there.

APC PEACE SUMMIT
(Please read this regarding the Jan 1st event!)
!!!!!! UPDATE FOR THE JANURARY 1ST MEETING (TOMORROW):!!!!!! Due to tomorrow being News Year day , tomorrow will be more CASUAL in terms of gathering. Rather then a traditional summit of conversation on how to solve things. This will purely be the mingling aspect to get to know other neutral based people, connect and form friendships. I apologize for this change on such short notice, but that is what tomorrows peace summit will be. So again, this is not a discussion of figuring out how to be better neutral and peace driven people, but socialization with focus on it being neutral and peace related organizations. So come socialize and get to know other peace and neutral like minded people!

(New!) FAQs
At the end of the blessing ceremony, all those who brought offerings and tokens to place under the tree where given the chance to have their emote forever on display, just as it will be beneath the tree. Here are some of the few items our wonderful attendees of Return to Honor put under the tree, who has grown quite a lot in its two years alone and grew even more that night with our combined powers.
Name: Glynindra Breezebend
Race: Kaldorei
Item: A carving of Teldrassil with small details of Rut'Theran, homes spiraling up the trunk, along with gems that fill the branches to mimic the light of Old Darnassus.
Emote: Glynindra Breezebend isn't sure if she's talking to herself or the tree, "I carved this out of a small log that I had carried in my bag since the Tree fell. This log came from south of Dolanaar. I hope that this wood from Teldrassil itself can carry its spirit into the new tree." She digs into the dirt a little bit, planting the Teldrassil carving next to the roots.
Name: Arielen Dreadtalon
Race: Blood Elf
Item: A golden chain, hosting a beautiful wedding ring
Emote: Arielen Dreadtalon plucked a long chain from her rig. A glittering and no doubt expensive ring dangled from it. She drifted forward, catching the chain with both hands and winding it around a branch. "I pray that you'll finally find your peace here, if nowhere else." Arielen Dreadtalon brushed her fingers along the chain, clasping her hand around the ring briefly. Her chin dipped as she offered up her prayers and eventually withdrew.
Name: Naimai
Race: Kaldorei
Item: 3 golden headpieces
Emote: Naimai withdraws 3 golden headpieces from her satchel, identical to the one she currently wore and approaches the tree. She sets down the three headpieces, touching each one. "Merianda. Elora. Kelesth." She stood and looked up the thick trunk of the tree and sighed. "Rest in the solitude."
Name: Baoshii Tumblebelly
Race: Pandaren
Item: The remains of Bao's former walking staff, charred by lightning that it protected him from.
Emote: Baoshii unfurls an old wrapped staff, split and charred down the middle. "May this staff nourish n' protect you like it did fer me."
Name: Dragov
Race: Forsaken
Item: Drinking Horn
Emote: Drago returned later in the evening after all had gone and laid an old drinking horn at the base of the roots, something he'd gotten from a dwarf while he was alive. Hopefully he'd be able to buy another one from the same fellow one day.
Name: Lyastei
Race: Kaldorei
Item: Crescent-Moon Pendant
Emote: Lyastei ventures forward, digging around in her purse for something. Eventually, she removes a small, crescent-moon pendant and places it at the base of the tree. Thankfully, her cane could find that. Lyastei utters a small blessing in Darnassian, speaking of forgiveness and unity, before she rights herself. She leaves her hand on the tree for a moment, just to feel it. Also, it told her which direction to go. She turns and walks opposite its face.
Name: Nattilain Gorstav
Race: Undead
Item: A contemplative, quiet wish.
Emote: Nattilain Gorstav stood before the tree as the denizens all left the meeting area. His violet eyes looking over the lavish petals, charms, notes, and belongings rested at the tree's base. His eyes moved to a child's doll rested at the tree's base. With nobody listening.. he uttered lowly to himself and the tree. "I doubt much peace will come for us. It will come long beyond our lifetimes. But I can only wish that my people find a home among life. The rift comes bigger, deeper, and there's no certainty we'll ever find respite.. But I wish that you grow deep and your roots bridge this mighty divide... One day." He returned to a formal posture as Gotosh and Zargaron made their way back to the tree. Leaving the area without much else said.
Name: Caleb McSwain
Race: Undead Kul’tiran
Item: Sheathed dagger
Emote: Caleb laid a sheathed dagger at the tree's roots. "Be warded from the gale. She will let no harm come to you."
Name: Grinthey Skystrider
Race: Half-Elf (Gnome/Kaldorei)
Item: A small cloth satchel with various herbs and crystals she was told would be appropriate. Also, Grinthey sprinkled water from her homeland by the roots, hoping that the peace was really "something in the water."
Emote: Grinthey Skystrider nestles a cloth bag, still tied up, by the roots. Humming thoughtfully a moment, she pulled a waterskin out as well, sprinking a fair bit on the ground near the roots.
Name: Shaureyne Razorleaf
Race: Night Elf
Item: Shaureyne summoned a small amount of divine magic and used it to aid in the blessings of the tree.
Emote: Shaureyne's brows knitted as she thought. Softly, hardly a whisper, she retrieved her necklace from beneath her gaiter and uttered a short Darnassian word. A soft flicker of silvery-blue light generated at her fingertips, and she gently guided it toward the tree.
Name: Haikili Thunderhorn
Race: Tauren
Item: A Picture of his Family, during one of their first outtings through Darkshore.
Emote: Haikili peers from seed, to satchel, to tree. Unsure of what to give, at first, he rummages through his satchel for a picture. A small image of his eclectic family on their way through Darkshore in a much more pleasant time. The backdrop wasn't the original intention of the image, but it's a snapshot of tragically bygone days, in retrospect. Gingerly, he nestles the picture in one of the budding boughs, snugly, firmly.
Name: Navataai
Race: Draenei
Item: A cancelled concert poster advertisement of the Idol Girl Navataai that was actually supposed to happen near Orgrimmar for the many fans of her's that are of the Horde side. This was dated right a month after the burning of Teldrassil that obviously didn't happen. The poster has an autograph of her's with the following comment, "... to live in one heart in common together ... dedicating all my concerts for peace and unity."
Emote: Contemplation
Name: Dean Amaranthaea Crowelley, Ph.D.
Race: Worgen
Item: Seeds from her home/personal gardens, a Harvest Witch/Druidic blessing.
Emote: Amaranthaea dug into the soil with her claws, making a shallow home for the seeds from their personal gardens. She sprinkled the seeds then covered them over, patting the earth before whispering a soft, unintelligible blessing to aid the seeds' growth. "Keep this tree company, little ones. Keep the Hope strong alongside it."
The Return To Honor was a success, and we could not be happier for those who came and showed their support as we take one last look to our first version of this event in 2018. At that time the wounds fresh, the tree was gone and the Horde in secret grieved. Together, both Horde and Alliance stood with each other and took another look at this loss and all that was lost after wards.
As we looked back, we looked forward. We held up our lanterns, together, and used that guiding light not just in remembrance but as a guide for each other as we traverse the future and return to ways we lost.
We want to thank the kind people of the Silver Circle for the help during the blessing ceremony to grow the tree even larger and more beautiful and the rest of the guild for the support and effort into making the Council wonderful.
Thank you all who attended , Peace be with you all.
You hear word of a gathering happening soon in a dense, secluded , area in a vast forests in the mountains. A gathering that perhaps you recognize during the times of pain and loss, when mourning Teldrassil could not be done proper due to the treachery and war that began to unfold as the tree was only just lost a few months before.
Even those who were not present during that first secret gathering may still feel drawn this special occasion. A place where Horde and Alliance can stand together in peace and reflect upon the tragedy that created so many rifts between people, factions and loyalties.
It's a gathering where we return to honor the fallen tree Teldrassil and all that happened after, and its a return to the very honor we must vow to uphold.

The Azeroth Peace Council is returning one more time to one of our most memorable events An Honoring of Teldrassil with this new upcoming event:
The Return to Honor.
Unlike the first event in 2018, which was majorly for the Horde who had no safe place to gather and express anger at the events that began to unfold as well as the innocents lost in the tragedy, this event will be far more focused on both sides coming together now that things do not need to be hidden. An event for people who still need to express, grieve or still feel ashamed. But also, an event where we can uplift, support and see now to the horizon.
We understand that since our first event, there have been many events with the call to action to seek change in our behavior, to vow to never let these things happen again and honoring the fallen tree. But even so, we hope this event can be one last look to this idea and hopefully make it memorable for you all again.
So bring your Enchanted Lanterns once more and let us raise them to illuminate the dark hall of our future so that we make the trek together and return to what is right.
The Return to Honor.
~~~
Items to bring: Enchanted Lantern
We will be utilizing the Enchanted Lantern to symbolize all those who were lost as a nod to our first event along with a new added message.
~~~ SCHEDULE, LOCATION AND MORE IN THE READMORE~~~~
UNLIKE our first event, we will not be having pet adoption or a grand feast. This will be a lot more simplified, but still with the same over all message and feel.
Rules:
- The over all fantasy of the event, is that two years ago this location was traveled to in secret by the Horde , and Alliance who heard of it, to grief and mourn over the tree as well as what this meant for the times to come. While not much of a secret anymore, it should still be respected that this place remain under cover. Only those who can benefit from such a gathering knowing where to go.
- If you want to go, feel free to make up a way as to how you heard about it! This one is not THAT secret anymore, and much more open...but still feel free to say a bird told you!
- Don’t grief, be OOC, bring OOC issues in or cause distress be it faction related or looking to cause trouble.
SCHEDULE:
Gathering Time/Official Start:
5:00 PM ST
Speaking from the heart:
5:30-6:30 Give or Take with RP
Feel free to PM , whisper, write a letter or respond if you wish to have a place to talk about your experience with the 4th War, Teldrassil or anything related in the domino effect that happened after the burning.
Growing: A Ceremony of Honor
A gathering where we stand with the tree, now bigger, once more... there will be a speech surrounding it and a time to place offerings and mementos at it’s base.

We look forward to seeing you!!

Due to the current state of Azeroth and the areas surrounding Stormwind City, Stormwind University is cancelling our weekly Literary Conclave for the date of November 12th. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes. However, the safety of our faculty and students must come first during this trying time.
We will continue to monitor the situation, and we are tentatively planning to host a neutral Literary Conclave on campus next week, with the caveat that all attendees must be cleansed and inspected upon entry, no exceptions. As with every year, there will be no Literary Conclave on November 19th. Normally this is for the sake of our faculty visiting with family and friends for the Pilgrim’s Bounty holiday. Clearly, there are other factors involved in the present time, but we wish to uphold this tradition.
Whatever the case with the rest of Azeroth, please know that Stormwind University remains a sanctuary for all who require our aid, regardless of faction. Should you be able to make it to the campus grounds, you will be cared for and protected, without question.
Greetings , Throm’ka and Ishnu-alah our friends and allies of the Azeroth Peace Council!
We are happy and excited to announce our last big event of the year The Return to Honor. We are looking to debut this event on either the 12TH OR THE 13TH of December
If any of you have followed us for awhile, you’ll know that one of our most notable events was An Honoring of Teldrassil an event that allowed Horde characters to grieve and express anger for the events that began to unfold, as well as Alliance standing along there with them. This event took place only a month or two after the actual burning.
Well, we feel what better way to end this year and expansion (even though Shadowlands will be in full swing) to return to the spot it all began. To return to the place where we all came together, to reflect, to grieve, and to express sorrow - and perhaps anger. To return to the place where we stood united, to stand together once more as we look to the future. To return to ways that are right, to return to honor.
While there have been events since then that have encapsulated the need to change, we hope this event will provide an extra added dosage and perhaps a different angle to the means of moving forward.
We thank you all for the constant support you have provided us, and we can’t wait to return to this event concept and be there with you. Please stay tuned for the official post for the Return to Honor.Until then, friends of Azeroth! Peace be with you!
The loss of Undercity had hit hard for The Forsaken. Just hearing the stories and speeches from those who fought under Sylvanas, to those who lived in Lordaeron in their first life, and Undercity in their second. My fellow council members of the Azeroth Peace Council met in Tirisfal to remember Undercity and I have found a newfound respect for my fellow Forsaken friends. I thank you for sharing your stories and experiences, and For the Forsaken!
((This event was a gem for everyone that attended. To the APC that organized it and all the Forsaken and other Azerothians coming to remember this amazing city! Thanks to all who spoke and came to the event. And huge props to Gotosh @shamanofthewildsfor putting this together. He worked tirelessly to give you a first class experience, and I couldn’t think of anyone better to bring this into fruition.))
During the Remembrance of Undercity, we had a segment titled The Ceremony of Embers and Spirit in which Forsaken (and allies) were welcome to toss that which they want left behind to burn in a symbolic fire and help them move forward in their unlife or life. Anything from mementos from long past, banners or tabards or anything that they feel no longer belongs with them and no longer represents them. All were allowed to do this, but focus was put on Forsaken first. We had all who wanted their items showcased fill out a doc so we can share and forever view these small, but impactful, character moments.
Down below is everyone who chose to have their moment showcased and what their feelings are that went with it as well as the item itself.
Due to the length of this post, please hit the Read More to view all items that have been tossed into the flames.
Caleb Mcswain
Item: A blue star moss boutonnière.
This item represented resentment, hatred for Caleb's undeath, and fear of the Horde.
Shandras Korpus
Item: A stuffed animal
"...I can't possibly atone for the murderous rage my Dark Lady once inspired, but I can surely commit to do better."
Silffred Queen
Item: A patched and beaded Undercity tabard.
Silffred leaves his spot, a ratty, patched tabard of the Undercity draped in his hands. He tries to steel himself, and fails. From the crowd, a death knight comes to his side; a -Night Elf- death knight. She whispers something to him and, together, they drop the tabard onto the smoldering bonfire. The Knight puts her hand on his shoulder, and Silffred raises his head to address the crowd. "I cast off my tabard for the final time, and with it... The piece of me that could end up no where else... But the flames."
Jarisold Acridwell
Item: Wedding ring
Jarisold steps up quietly and pulls out a ring. He looks at it with a solemn expression, signing slowly with his free hand. "I have little to say here except I'm sorry. I wish I could have protected you." He grips it one last time, looking over it as he casts it into the fire.
Nicolai Wyther
Item: A Leatherbound notebook full of old alchemical research.
Nicolai looked down at his old leatherbound book. Inside were a mix of notes, research and alchemical studies he had done many years ago for the Forsaken cause. Some were helpful, but many used for harming those who dared to mess with the Forsaken. "I was naive. I didn't know any better." he muttered under his breath as his veil covered his sorrowful face. "Years of my life were written down in this book I used to be proud of it...but when I see this book on my mantle, I don't think of the time I spent with my old Order or the happy memories." his voice trembled. "I only see regret. Anguish!" He opened the book to take out a dried out Arthas Tear, holding it between his skeletal fingers "And I must...move on." As he tossed the book into the fire.
Donovan Morris Wightborn
Item: A Forsaken insignia of excellence and a medallion with a red soulstone in it.
Donovan pulls up a faded insignia from his bags. "Today, I burn two pages of history from my present so they may join the ashes of the past. First, an insignia of excellence given to me by the Dark Lady during the Gilneas campaign. With this, I burn what little respect I had for the Banshee... Along with a deep resentment for the people of Gilneas." He drops his insignia into the flames "And then..." he grasps at a silver necklace with a cracked red gem around his neck and pulls, snapping the chain as he removes it. He stares at it for a moment, in his hand, and holds it up "A soulstone medallion which was once used to twist my soul into undeath, and that I then used to imprison and punish the necromanceress responsible. With this, I let go of an old bitterness and drive: Vengeance. I slew her and her soul is long gone. No need for this to remain and remind me of her. I am Forsaken, driven by the glory and growth of our people, not unfocused hatred of an old witch." with that, he tosses it into the fire and watches it burn. He thought 'Donovan Morris died for Lordaeron. Donovan Wightborn claimed vengeance for him. Now we both live, in this glorious dark rebirth, as Forsaken.'
Nettie Ka'an
Item: Insignia of a Forsaken soldier
Nettie steps foward and takes out a small, shiny object. "This insignia represents my time as a soldier on the Gilnean-Forsaken front. I had just been raised, and unlike many of you, felt little loyalty to the Banshee Queen."She pauses. "I joined to try to preserve my home, Gilneas, despite the Forsaken's onslaught. Since then, I have met and bonded with more Forsaken than I had thought I ever would. This insignia is a reminder of a past era, of distrust towards my own people." She continues. "We have all lost our homes, in one or way another. It is time to move forward." She gently drops the insignia into the fire, where it glows, and rejoins the circle.
Geniya Zigzy
Item: Old Undercity military ID card
Geniya tosses the card into the fire, and it quickly flares up and away. "I used this only once since the fall of Undercity, as a way to pass myself off as the officer in Sylvanas' forces that I once was, for the purpose of sneaking some dissenters to safety. We are now ALL safe. We are free to be whoever we are, with no one watching over us from above. I will never need to use this card again."
Benemus Crungey
Item: Wedding Ring & Silver Dagger
Benemus steps up, twisting a tarnished ring off of his finger and dropping it into the fire. "The last trappings of when I was alive," He said simply. "Attachment to someone who has spoken of her hatred for what I have become. I do not need this reminder that only makes me upset." Then he removes a dagger from his pack, and drops it in as well. "Be well on your journey into the shadows."
Édouard Chaudron
Item: Old Academy Frying Pan
Anger at his Father who didn't support his culinary pursuits nor his soup kitchen for the poor of Lordaeron. His father would be the ghoul that sent him to his unlife, something which he clung to in anger prior to this event. Tossing it was to help let go of his difficult feelings in regards to his relationship with his father and to move past the guilt, doubt and other painful emotions that had him second-guessing his chosen path in life + unlife.
Canthar
Item: Remains preserved in jars.
"I no longer have need for these. That competitive abomination assembly were a thing is disgusting. That I got caught up in it... Regardless. Dead should only be raised willing. These morbid cadavers no longer fascinate me..."
Hylden Caspian Levanthorpe
Item: An amethyst sphere (a speakstone)
Hylden holds in his hand a stone. A beautiful amethyst sphere. Staring down at the thing, the storm of emotions that brewed on his features, in his eyes spoke to something deeper than he could express in words. He closed his fingers around it, and took a breath, staring down at the flames. “This was a gift, from a man I loved more than anythin’. Anythin’ I ever could have described, anythin’ I thought I could have felt. In that awful darkness, he called me a sweet thing. A mouse. That man would have had us believe that he was a snake. A serpent. Clever and connivin’. ...but snakes kill their prey quickly. No.” His eyes flicked upward, burning brightly, focusing directly on the man. “That man was a glue trap. Unfortunately for him, this mouse didn’t stay stuck. His grip was far too weak.” He glanced back down to the fire, opening his hand and staring back into the depths of that sphere, glowing with a life all its own. As his eyes turned from the fire, he lifted his hand and tilted it to the side, letting it roll from his palm as he said, “Goodbye. I’ll always love you. Though I’ll never know if it was my choice or not, will I?”
Vynaendra Highwood
Blood Elf
Item: Insignia of Sylvanas
Vyn feels anger seeing the image of her face. Anger and disgust and sadness.
Bagorpagork
Mok’nathal
A very old tome containing warlock spells and rituals
Gork was clutching onto an old tattered book. A black cover with fel green demonic lettering and symbols. He held it out, giving it one last look before tossing it into the flames. "As time passes, sometimes you learn that the things that made you strong, the things that help you win, come at a price. The Alliance may have essentially lost that day. But it cost a great price for the Forsaken. I think uh, Mr Eralos put it quite really... I have begun to question my own power, the price I may someday come to pay. I have decided I do not need this power anymore. It is time to move on" he ended with a small smile.
Lembri Vulpiana
Shal’dorei
Item: Menagerie Insignia
Lembri removes an insignia from her satchel, bearing the mark of Suramar's Royal Menagerie. It's been battered with age, and no longer shines like the rest of the silver that adorns her. "I used to be afraid... I thought that I had to help protect the creatures of the outside from their own h-home... I'll never be able to forgive myself fully for the animals still trapped in that sick circus but... T-This is the start of redemption." The nightborne tosses the medal into the fire, feeling great relief as it disappears amongst the flames.
Sorrel Silverblade
Kaldorei
Item: A rosary; an innumerable amount of red strings
Sorrel approaches the fire, holding a rosary befitting a priest or priestess of the Church of the Holy Light. Its beads are made of dark, worn wood and yellowed ivory, the strand of silk they're strung on yellowed and brittle. At the end is a truesilver holy symbol, tarnished with age. He opens his other hand, filled with tiny red strands of string, curled and folded as if they'd been tied into position for a long time. He clears his throat a bit. "...you deserved better. A better life. A better son. I killed in your name, as if death or life were a game I could succeed in." He lowers his eyes and ears, gritting his teeth. "...I know better now. Life and death mean much more to me, in each of their forms. To the Light I pray you find solace." He lets the rosary fall into the fire. Sorrel stares intently into the flame. "To the Shadows I pray that they may guide my hand so that I may serve my fellows honourably. To learn from the mistakes of my youth." He lets the red strands fall. "To move past my sins." With that, he returns to his friends.
Geniya, on behalf of Gornagh Starcrusher
Undead Orc
Item: Ebon Blade Warbanner
Gornagh gave Geniya the banner to toss into the flames as a way of finally severing himself from the Ebon Blade, an organization he left very abruptly after realizing that his morals no longer aligned with theirs. He wishes to feel free of reminders that make him angry, for a group that he believes is no longer worth his energy to think on.
Kuyr Driftwood
Tauren Death Knight
Item: Decaying old Saronite gauntlet
Said: "Watching time pass me by...I should let go of this and work on my bonds. What it will bring with my new tribe. I don't know. But it's better then being alone."
Thought's: *The pain and suffering is still unbearable. I can't break free fully. Maybe this will help me fight more to be myself. But I still wish at times just...release.*
Litharial Solstar
Sin’dorei
Item: A single, grey arrow with raven fletching.
Approached the bonfire that blazed with the ashes and memories of those that fed it before her. She drew a single, grey arrow with raven fletching, so unlike her golden ones. Examining the arrow a moment, she spoke quietly, "This belonged to my sister, Asarial. We fought together at the battle for Lordaeron when the Alliance broke through the gate, she told me to go first to make sure the wounded were well cared for. Her selflessness cost her her life. And it nearly broke me. Fast forward to the relevancy of this story, I found myself before the city of Ogrimmar, ready to liberate the city. However, it became apparent that loyalists were sabotaging the weaponry." Takes a moment to sniffle, a lone tear falling down her cheek. "It was then that I found the thing of my nightmares. My sister, who was raised as a Dark Ranger to serve the Banshee Queen. It was my duty to defend Saurfang's army and I did so, quickly slaying the two other Dark Rangers with her, and after a terrible duel...her." Her eyes grew ever luminescent as they reflected the warm light of the bonfire. "She lost..." Looking at the arrow once again, she turned it over in her hands, "I understand this ceremony is to honor our Forsaken brothers and sisters. But I can never truly hate the Dark Rangers, for what became of them. I cannot even hate Sylvanas, for she will always be remembered as a hero to Silvermoon for her sacrifice. So it is my hope, that the Dark Rangers and Sylvanaas find their way into this pyre. My sister, at least, shall find hers." Litharial placed the arrow gently, almost reverently, in the consuming fire. The flashed quickly licked the arrow, turning a dark purple where the arrow touched the flames, before blazing a righteous orange again. "Al diel shala, Asarial. Elor bindel felallan morin'aminor, Belore'dorei. Shorel'aran, sister."
Dragway
Orc
Item: An old royal crest banner of the Rally family, it's dark blue banner with a falcon holding a mason hammer and pickaxe in its talons
Dragway said this about the banner "This was the crest of Baron Danton Rally, who was a warden to many internment camps for the orcs, I spent my childhood as a slave under him, he was slain when Thrall came to liberate us. I toss my grieve for the child who was living in dirt and mud, and give hope to the adult still standing here. May the orcs...no...no other races, never be put into chains ever again!”

Item: A red hair ribbon
Gotosh clutched the red hair ribbon in his palm, looking down to it. He thought of what it meant to his friend, a connection to people who are long gone and their souls lost. Part of him didn’t want to toss it into the fire, feeling the weight it carried. But he promised to do this and with one toss the ribbon joined the other items to be burned away. May they rest, he thinks, may he rest too.
The Remembrance of Undercity will truly be another memorable event for us and hopefully all those participated. This event was planned to be done in a similar fashion to our Honoring of Teldrassil , which was done only a few months after the actual event took place. But, due to time and rescheduling and so many factors we were not able to mirror our first event properly. But that ended up working in our favor with the story, and truly being able to look back at all the Forsaken had gone through up to the loss of the city and all that has happened after. This ended up being an amazing event, moving and with the mixture of the Forsaken outlook ended up creating a unique event we will remember always.
We hope you all found something in this event for your characters. Be it a moment of development, story or just something personal for you. We thank all of you for the kind things people have said so far and we could not have done it with out all of you.
Please post your screenshots because we would love to see them.
Thank you once again, for being wonderful.
May we see you all next time,
With love
The Azeroth Peace Council
We had such a fantastic night with you all on the 10th for the Remembrance of Undercity. Due to some things needing some attention IRL, the official posts cataloging the events are a bit delayed. But screencaps, showcase and official notes will be shared with you all soon. It was stated it’d take a couple days regardless!
Thank you all for supporting out events, and we can’t wait to do more!
When: October 10th, 5:00 PM ST
Where: OOCly Duskwood (ICly a safe far off corner of Tirisfal)
A curious thing has reached your ears…an even more curious notice was posted in a place only those who need it will see. A gathering in a far off corner of Tirisfal, untouched by the toxic blight, is happening soon.
Here, we come together to as Forsaken, for Forsaken, to remember all that has been lost. Not just their beloved city, but much much more. Home. Trust. Friends. Even hope. But not all is lost, no. Where things we believed in may have shown betrayal…is now when we must join together most of all and find the trust in each other, and see to the future. All may come to honor what Undercity stood for. What it still stands for. For what was. For what is. For the Forsaken.
~~
After many ups and downs, rescheduling and change of plans. Azeroth Peace Council happily presents our mirror event to Honoring of Teldrassil: Remembrance of Undercity. One that has changed greatly in meaning since it’s loss.
Here this event is not just to mourn a city that has meant so much to so many people, but to also reflect now on all that the Forsaken, and allies, endured and felt during this recent war, and the things that led up to it. The feeling of betrayal. The feeling of loss. Friends and families ripped apart and a leader they thought would stand as their ray of hope. Much is lost. But now we seek to gather what can be gained. A time of remembrance, togetherness and a show of care to a people who deserve it. This is for all the Forsaken who are hurt, confused and need a time to express and allow themselves a moment to grieve, for the Horde who support and fight along side their friends in their unlife, and for the others… who may have family who look different now, but still love them.
Join us, the Azeroth Peace Council and friends, to see these people honored and given the space express their grief and heartache, even if it beats slower or not at all. We welcome you…to the Remembrance of Undercity.
