Ode to Country Crock Butter...
Food tastes so much better with butter..toast, French toast, waffles, pancakes, any bread, cooking, vegetables, cookies, cupcakes, steak, etc. But I didn't think that I would write a post about it until now.
Country Crock butter has always been the one for me growing up, but now that there are so many different kinds and brands curiosity has one wanting to venture out and try new things. But today, it's back to the roots of my childhood. Now there's a regular flavor, a light style, and also a churned style. The light of course is in regards to calories, but I was interested to see what the churned style was all about. Unfortunately the store that I went to was out, so I just picked the light version since I'm on a diet or supposed to be anyways.
Once I opened up the package and peeled back the plastic lining, I just took a whiff of that rich buttery smell. Later on the week I used for everything. I spread it on my toasted sandwiches with eggs and avocado, used it to make strawberry cookies, incorporated it into my sautéing of veggie dishes, and melted it over corn. It's easy to spread and it's soft. Even though it's light, it has a rich buttery taste still but not as many calories which is awesome for my cholesterol level.
I think I've most likely converted back to my Country Crock use after this purchase. Thank you Influenster for giving me a complimentary voucher to test out this butter.
