A Reversal of Roles â Evan + Azrael
Taking his hand delicately in hers, the black lace on her hand contrasting the white of their skins, she followed him out onto the floor. Taking the frame of the dance, she followed his lead for a moment. Leaning in, her voice was a touch husky. âDo you mind playing a little game tonight Azrael? A real little gameâŚ.â She had been drinking a little before Azrael approached her, and each of the words leaving her lips was slightly slurred. âYouâre always so⌠bad. But I am so goodâŚâ She leaned into him, pressed against him tightly. âLets play opposites tonight. You be the pure one⌠live up to that jacketâŚâÂ
She laughed a little, biting at his ear before leaning back and dancing around with him some more. âThink you could do it Az? Could you a good little boy for one night?â She couldnât help but laugh, but it turned into a hum as the music caught her attention for a moment, and she began to hum the tune, a touch off key, but she kept the beat close enough that it wasnât glaringly bad.Â
The reversal of roles was more than just a little bit intriguing for Azrael. Along with so many other things that he had given in to that evening, the opportunity just seemed too interesting to pass up. "Of course, love. You know I like to play games." Azrael said it as if it was a matter-of-fact. However, underneath it all, he wasn't sure if he could go along with it. Was it possible for him to behave for even a night? He didn't think so. The white ensemble was certainly helping to make him feel like a different person, but it would be hard to cover up his darkness for a whole night.Â
Still, he lied. "I promise you, I can be good for just a night. The question is--how well will you do in my shoes? Do you have what it takes to be evil, Evangeline?" He placed his hand behind her back and spun her around at the appropriate time in tune with the music, although it seemed very obnoxious for him to have done so. He didn't normally like to dance, even though it felt quite natural with Evan all things considered. Azrael continued speaking, after he pulled her tight. "Personally, I don't think you have what it takes." He paused, and decided to add, "But you're learning, all you need is a little breaking in. So by all means, take over for the night and see what it's like first hand."Â
