In two minds about chapter 5. Unsure if I actually would want to play it when it comes out, kris really seems to resent the soul even in the standard events of chapter 4 and idk I just feel bad about it.
I could probably watch theories n stuff, but damn the actual playing of the game would probably be wrong yk.

Being young is to think the Daleks are the coolest Dr Who alien.
Growing up is realising they are pretty boring and are somewhat overused.
This was a problem in Classic Who also. I haven't watched it all, but for me there really were only two really good Dalek serials - Day of the Daleks and Genesis of the Daleks.
Day of the Daleks was more or less the only Classic Who episode to really explore time travel/time loop paradoxes, and it did so with a really compelling "mic drop" finale.
Genesis of the Daleks had a lot of interesting ideas about the origin of the Daleks and the possibility of them being created in a way that made them not evil. It also rebooted the Daleks, so maybe Nu Who could reboot the Daleks again, in some interesting way.
Still, neither of them capture the thrilling menace of the Cybermen in the one (to me) good Cybermen serial (I won't name it in case you don't want to be spoiled). Classic Who has done a lot of "base under seige" stories, but this one was unique in its utterly hopeless stacked odds. The "base under seige" part lasts less than one half hour episode, and the Doctor only managed to delay the Cybermen for like ... a few minutes. I think the heroes managed to kill a total of maybe seven of the Cybermen. Out of 15,000.
Classic who is next for me, so I’ll have to be prepared for this too. Looking forward to the 4th doctor if nothing else.
Last time I tried to watch it I gave up quickly, but I think I was a little young to be watching the 1st doctor in glorious black and white.

The rest of the episode was just eeeeehhhhh too, my god did they make a big deal out of poppy only for it all to be fixed in like 5 seconds. Just have the rani stab him or something, and it does even give a good reason why mrs flood could break the 4th wall.
At least ruby was good, while she probably shouldn’t have been here this season on a writing level she did really pull things together.
since mrs, ms, and mr are all descended from the latin word magister, i propose the gender neutral version should be mg, short for "mage"

easy to pronounce, even for children (though kids 4 & younger may pronounce it more like "mayd" or "maygh")
ONE SYLLABLE!!! ("individual" is too goddamn LONG.) you have to be able to say it quickly and casually
ends in a soft vowel sound, so it'll flow right into the next word ("ind" halts the whole sentence)
fits neatly into the existing structure as a relative of master/mistress that can be abbreviated down to an m and one other letter
distinct enough that it can't be mistaken for either gendered term (if you call me mix I'll kill you. it sounds like miss with extra steps)
