i’m ngl i feel like sometimes im reading somthing that may not be the best but at the same time like these people are doing this for free and fun im not expecting perfect writing and its not like can do much better so i give all authors grace anf at the end of the day if i dont like somthing i can at anytime just stop yk

yeah i just avoid the ones i don’t like. fanfiction is at the end of the day a creative outlet for people. real writing is valued!

i agree with everything u guys have been saying but i do wanna give authors a little grace. at the end of the day we’re all getting this for free so if i’m not into them i just avoid them. i prefer real writing no matter how flawed over ai any day

my biggest tumblr pet peeve, especially when i'm reading and they don't even capitalize quotes properly, like one part could be

"Hi."

and the next line could be

"hi",

like you did it right the first time what happened

i’m super picky with fics even more so these days because of that. i’m trying not to be super mean here but yes i agree anon 😭

I think the childhood friends part is holding me back on telling her idk obviously she’s gay so she’s not going to be homophobic towards me but who knows 😭 my mind works in strange ways

bro literally What are you waiting for to tell her? if she’s gay herself there’s nothing to fear. i know the whole concept of growing up with someone since you’re childhood friends can make it scarier but i genuinely think she’d be nothing but supportive.

maybe her not knowing for sure that you’re gay is holding back any possibilities of her thinking you might like her. thus she doesn’t make any moves.
