“Please, sadism is overrated. I may be a bit sociopathic, but I think I’m a bit a ways from being sadistic.” She said with a smirk. “Besides, since when is having a bit of fun a crime?”
He nodded, his eyebrows raising in submission to her response. “I think that depends on kind if fun. Then again, I’m not sure I’m afraid of a little crime.”
Unfortunate to say the least. But maybe this hasn’t been a complete waste, we can guess. I’ll bet Mikayla had a part in it.
“That’s a bold choice.” Brendan eyed his suspiciously, a smirk playing at the corner of his mouth. “Why Mikayla?”
Are you going to make that guess or not because so far this has been a waste of my time.
Brendan eyed him for a moment. “It appears this has been a waste of both of our time then.”

“Don’t push it,” she rolled her eyes at him, going back to the teasing. “It may be the only one you ever get.” She rose a brow, noticing his eyes lingering. “I guess that all depends on what it is you think I’m after.” She smirked up at him, “Unless I…? What? Actually become prefect and have access to this place any time I want?” She teased. “I’m curious, how exactly do you think you specifically being prefect helps my case? Besides, I’m not even the one you have to be worried about. If anyone has to worry about me, it should be Emi.”
He huffed a hard chuckle. “I don’t mind your being here.” His voice was still too harsh to roll off as casual. Alice thought too highly of herself for her own good. Brendan felt narcissistic but he felt he had valid point to prove this. He was both a prefect and the captain. There were no more positions even left to take. He rolled his eyes at her. “I’m sure Emi is sleeping well at night. Honestly she’s probably not even considered the possibilities. I know I’m trying not to.”

Seeing that her teasing wasn’t helping, she let out a sigh at his anger. Brendan, at least as of right now, was not someone that she needed angry with her. Right now, the best course of action seemed to be biting her tongue and apologizing. “Wait,” she moved to stand in front of him to keep him from storming out the door. “That was insensitive of me. I’m sorry. I wasn’t thinking. I know Sundim has taken a lot from you. I didn’t mean to hit so close to home.”
He stared down at her and attempted to smirk at her. It was dry and sad in comparison to before. The fact that he was showing anger only intensified it. He did his best to seem teasing. “I get an apology now?” He watched her another moment before furrowing his brows. “Me not being prefect wouldn’t even help your case.” He looked her up and down, his eyes pausing at her hips for a moment before returning to her eyes. “Unless you know...” his smirk was slightly more genuine though his tension was still noticeable.

I miss you so much. I think you were the only person I could talk to and now I just wont, I just wont. It just leads to to much.
I know. I am what I am and that’s all that I am. You looked positively demonic the other morning. It frightened me.I knew that look so well and I wanted to run into your arms also get the hell away from you so fast.
I wish I weren’t so fucking greedy about you. It’s so sick. I know what you don’t want and that’s what I don’t understand.
On the other hand I can’t help responding to you.
“Please. As if I ever need an excuse. And comparing me to Robin Hood is definitely a long shot.” She said, sniggering at her joke. “My point is, is I like to act like natural selection. Besides, if you mess too much with the ones who aren’t a pain in the ass, you breed new problems and they rise to the occasion, and I am not about more snotty rat bastards roaming this castle.”
He laughed, tucking his wand back away in his robes. He didn’t actually enjoy the sport as much as Briana but he was more than willing to play along. “I should probably be relieved you aren’t a complete sadist.” He raised a brow at her with amusement.

“I’m not shy. I just don’t want to reward you with something you haven’t earned,” she shot back, watching him. She could see the second her words registered with him. He was trying to act like possibly losing his status wasn’t bothering him. She tilted her head a bit as she watched him. “It’s not like they’re targeting you specifically. Besides, I quite like the idea that I have a chance to step up in ranks. The only reason you should be worried is if you think loosing your position is a real threat. Are you worried I’d be better at your job than you, Kingsley?”
Alice really didn’t know when to shut up. As she continued on he could feel rage flaring up inside him. They had taken more from him than Alice seemed to realize. “Then by all means, I’ll give you some privacy.” He saiid, almost yelling at her. Brendan almost walked out of the room with out even putting on his trousers. He threw his towel off of himself, ripping the pants off of his soulder and shoving his legs into them. Alice was good at testing his patients and he could feel him on the brim of snapping.
So you didn’t know all along?
He rolled his eyes. “I have enough clues to make a guess.”

“Yes, I’m guessing you’ve made the trek down to the dungeons naked several times by now.” She rose a brow as he pulled himself out of the tub and moved towards her. He looked much too smug for her liking.
As he came closer, she tilted her head up to look at him, keeping eye contact until he turned away. “With you in here? Now Kingsley, it takes more than that to get me naked,” she replied. “You should make use of it while you still have it. You heard what Capscien said about reevaluating prefects and quidditch captains. You might not have access next year. Maybe I’ll be the one with the password instead,” she smirked.
He laughed at her comment, bending over to pick up his pants before tossing them over his shoulder. He glanced back at her with a grin. “If you are shy you can wait till I leave.” He returned to her, standing a casual distance from her. Her later comment caused him tension. “They won’t be quite satisfied till they take everything.” He tried to sound casual but he could feel his jaw flexing with anger. He did his best tp push it from his mind
Oh but you do.
“Well, if you don’t already know I can’t see how much help you’ll be.”
“My time is limited, in the time that I am not studying, so work your magic, Kingsley.” Halee chuckled lightly and then cocked her head to the side. “The dessert? If you are talking about Cranachan as the dessert than it is wonderful.”
He smiled, licking his lower lip as he spoke. “I've heard the house elves have outdone their selves on this batch.” He stood up, pushing himself off of the table. “Care to test that with me?”

“I think you mean lucky for you,” she corrected, dropping the piece of clothing by the door and moving further into the room. She had a feeling that this little request of his was about more than just bringing him trousers. “You could have been waiting here all night if I’d decided not to come.”
She stopped short of the tub’s edge and crossed her arms, tilting her head as she looked at him. “Well that’s quite an assumption. Whatever gave you that idea?” She rose a brow when she heard a small chuckle. “What? I wasn’t aware I’d done anything funny.”
He chucked, once the sound hard as he smirked at her. “I would of made it back just fine. Maybe not clothed, but I certainly wouldn’t have waited on you.” He leaned over and picked up his towel, fanning it out as he pulled him self out of the tub.
He wrapped it around his waist and took a step toward her so that the hight difference was noticeable, his smug face holding a smirk as he looked down at her. He pushed his dripping hair out of his face. “Intuition.” He mused and pushed a stray strand of hair away from her face before turning and walking back the other way. “Feel free to use the tub.”
Kronos / Rory and Brendan
Rory let out a little groan this time when he picked her up. It felt like her leg was on fire–a fitting description, in all reality. At first, Rory thought that he was going to put her down, but he didn’t. His words made her eyes blink open, and she looked up at his face with her own completely panicked. “You can’t,” she argued, though there wasn’t any force behind it. She was too tired for that.
Her head rolled to his chest, and she kept talking to him even though she wasn’t looking at him. “Everyone’s going to know,” she mused, as if she had accepted that she wasn’t changing Brendan’s mind. Why would she think she could? No one listened to her. “They’re going to say I’m weak and stupid. They’re going to know that I’m a fraud. It’s not… It’s not fair,” she finished, choking on her last words.
Her face sent an ache through his chest. “No ones going to know.” His voice was harsh and strange as he rushed down the stairwell, his feet uneven from the lack of a shoe. He could hear his pulse in his ears, feel it banging behind his skull as he beat himself up for his decision. “No one will know.” He said again, this time more to himself than to her.
As he reached the bottom of the stairwell he picked up the pace, half running down the corridor. They weren’t exactly close to the hospital wing and he probably wouldn’t have made it with out a break if the adrenalin had not been coursing through his muscles like poison.
She grinned, grabbing her wand and leading him over to a secluded culvert that had a pretty great view of the courtyard. “See, that one over there with the stupid hat? He’s a little shit who likes to shove people into walls. So, acting as an agent of divine intervention, we just..” She flicked her wand and he suddenly felt himself hit into the wall. “Help the universe along.” She finished with a snigger, watching as the boy turned bright red and looked around, trying to figure out what had just happened.
He followed her with his arms crossed, curiosity found itself in the space between his brows. As she spoke the space was closed. “What are you some kind of sick Robin Hood?” He teased, glancing at her from the corner of his eye while he watched the boys embarrassment. He lifted his wand and flicked it so that the same boy was now tripping over his own shoe laces. “Because I’m disappointed you need an excuse.”

Alice knew that Brendan had asked her to meet him right after curfew, but Alice being Alice, and the person she was going to meet being Brendan, meant that she was sure to take her time getting there. She saw no problem in making him wait for her, after all, she was the one doing him a favor.
Once she reached the correct door, she uttered the password and entered the room for the first time. It was actually quite nice. It seemed as though prefects got it good. She rose a brow as she saw him lounging in the bubbles with his back to her. “Hope you haven’t been waiting too long. We wouldn’t want you to get all pruney.”
He smirked, his eyes closed and his head still drawn back. “Luckily for you I enjoy long baths.” Amusement spread across his face. As far as he was concerned the game began the second she walked through that door.
He stood up, the water still up to his waist and turned to look at her. “But something tells me you’d want me waiting for you.” He watched her another moment before letting out a small chuckle from under his breath.
Halee most of the time would have ignored the comments that were being made at her, and the slight flirting that Brendan was saying towards her, but she couldn’t ignore it. “Well, you have my full attention.” Halee bit her lip slightly and smiled. “My complimenting skills could use some work.”
He laughed now as she continued to amuse him with responses. He taped his fingers on the desk. “I better make it worth you’re while then.” He watched her another long moment. “How do you feel about Cranachan?”
