Wayfaring Stranger // Halee & Hunter
At first Hunter thought that she was upset that he had run into her, almost making him fear that he had plowed over her harder than he had originally anticipated. However as she started talking, Hunter realized that it was the least of her problems. Something had happened, and it obviously was something bad. And while Hunter knew that it was none of his business to ask about it, it didn’t mean that he wanted to leave her crying in the middle of the hallway. That actually was probably one of the worst places for her to be.
“Well I can tell you that it’s not on purpose,” Hunter softly said as he crouched next to her, “though maybe it is a sign that I should help you. I get that yo’re not very pleasant right now. And I’m not going to ask you about it. I know you’ll talk if you want to, and I’m not going to force it out of you. However I am going to get you out of this hallway, because I doubt you want anyone else seeing you like this. Sound like a plan?” Though really Hunter wasn’t going to give her much of a choice. He just wanted her to have something that’ll help her to be okay. Even if it was as small as getting her away from people who might treat her in a way that would make things worse.
Halee looked up at him and he was still talking, the thing was that she needed someone to talk to, sometimes she wanted to be alone and in all honesty this was a time she wanted to be alone. Although the thing was that right now she needed someone to talk to even though she didn’t feel like talking at the moment. He wanted her to get out of this hallway, and in her state of being she didn’t understood why. It was quiet where she was, and she liked being there. “Why...why should we get out of here? It is quiet out here, and no one is here.” Swallowing she started to get upset again, thinking about all of the things that were going wrong. “I don’t want to go home.” It came out but it wasn’t like she was making sense, she wasn’t even being specific enough.
Justine saw that she was having trouble getting out what she needed to say and she nodded when she asked to go somewhere private, “Sure thing. Come on.” She gestured to the stairs so they could walk somewhere else.
Halee walked with her, and stopped talking as they walked. She wanted to make sure that they were some place where someone didn’t hear them. It didn’t matter much if someone heard her but she wanted to make sure. “Uh...where are you taking me?”
Do you want some..
“You cannot think poorly of yourself Peanut. Blokes love confidence. I’ll be honest with you, I’m a sucker for it,” he laughed at the though. “Well I guess I’m out of the question,” he joked with a laugh then grew serious again. “Understanding and sweet.. alright now I have a direction. If I find you a date with someone, what do I get in return huh?” he spoke playfully even though he wanted to be serious. When she spoke again, those words were having a hard time resonating in his brain since it was always him growing up. But she was the closest he had to a sibling even if he didn’t want to admit, “Alright alright, quit guilt tripping me. I will help. But you owe me.”
“Well, you should know by now that I have bad confidence. I get it that guys love confidence, but it is hard to fake confidence, just saying.” Shrugging her shoulder when she heard his comment she rolled her eyes. At one point in her life she had a crush on Chance, but when he got older she realized that he was just going to be someone that if she ever wanted to hook up with she possibly could, but that was all. “What do you get in return? Hm, that is tricky. I will bake you some goods, or I will dance for you. Wow, that sounds horrible, no I will not dance for you. I will make you food.” Halee said chuckling slightly, and then leaned back in her chair. “I am not trying to guilt trip you, I am just trying to get you to realize that I need your help. Which is hard for me to say. I owe you, fine. Now please find me someone.”
“Yeah… well don’t let it be the only thing you do. Balance is good.”
“Well that is why I was talking to you though, it gave me a break from studying. In addition, I have to admit it Ethan, it was nice to just have a conversation with you without us teasing or joking around with each other.”
Bikinis and Secrets (Annabelle + Halee)
Annabelle shook her head. “No, you’re much to pretty to go unnoticed. You just need to come out of your shell more like you are now in your bathing suit.” Giggling, she almost forgot about their conversation earlier. “Well, you said you wanted to meet at the lake because you needed to get something out, am I wrong?”
Halee chuckled slightly, “Yes, sweetie, I am going to walk around the castle all day with my bathing suit. I feel like I will just attract the eyes of guys who want to just have me for my body.” There was nothing really that she wanted to tell Annabelle, she knew that she should tell someone about her grandfather but maybe she should just talk to Annabelle today about her guy issues. “Uh, I never really said that I needed to talk to you about something, I think that I said I just wanted to have a little fun. I...I am having a little issue of my confidence with guys really.”
Halee floated in the water, trying to relax before she went back and delt with thinking about exams. Suddenly she heard someone in the distance. “Uhm, hello?”
She raised an eyebrow, “I find that pretty hard to believe. But even if it’s true, you and I both know you’re going to do great.” Briana nodded solemnly. “Yeah, I understand that. Though, you played great and did really well, so don’t sell yourself short. At the end of the day, it is a team effort.”
“Thanks Briana, I will just keep hoping that I will do well. If I do well do you want to throw a party? Wow, that makes me sound really self centered.” Halee chuckled and then came back to her serious self. “Okay, I will try not to, but you know how hard that is for me.”
“Hmm, I’m not really sure what to tell you.”
“Well...maybe I should just get some better food. Any suggestions?”

“Wit beyond measure is mans greatest treasure”
Justine looked at her as she mentioned not wanting to see her grandparents, “Are they quite grouchy?” She asked cautiously, not wanting to upset her unintentionally.
Halee didn’t know what she wanted to do, but she knew that she needed to tell someone about what was going on. Halee trusted Justine, more than anything they were really good friends. “Uhm...no, I...I have something I need to get out but I...can we go somewhere private?”
Bikinis and Secrets (Annabelle + Halee)
Annabelle waved when she saw Halee. The other female seeker at Hogwarts. A bond that had worked out well for the two. Annabelle shrugged when Halee spoke up. “Well, let’s go get it.” She smiled and started walking back into the castle when two fourth year boys whistled at them as they passed and Annabelle rolled her eyes. “Boys.” She sighed and held open the castle door for Halee. “So when do i get to find out what you have been wanting to tell me?”
Halee sighed and was a little bit annoyed at herself. The weather was nice outside and she didn’t really want to just go back inside to get a towel, but it was better than not having a towel. “Okay fine.” As they walked back into the castle she saw the guys and rolled her eyes. “The only guys that will ever whistle at me in my life, I am expecting.” Recently the girl had been down on herself because she realized that she was never going to find another guy in this castle who would be interested in her. It wasn’t like she was desperate for a relationship but it would be nice to have some sort of attention. “I....what do you mean? I am...there isn’t anything I need to tell you.”

“Now is fine a good thing?”
“It is better than bad, but no I want great. I just...I should probably get back to studying.” Halee said looking down at her books shuffling them around.
“What did the other Ravenclaws say?”
“They said that it was fine, so it may have just been my stomach.”
“I know you don’t have to worry. You’re brilliant!” She said with a grin and a playful nudge. “No? Well, I suppose I’m not all that surprised, to be honest. You’re too good, Shepard.”
“Well, I just haven’t been working as hard as I normally work is all.” Halee felt the nudge and chuckled slightly at her friend and nudged her back. “Well the thing is that it wasn’t about the points I wanted to win though for my team. I felt bad that I let the team down.”
Do you want some..
“Do you? It only helps if you point me in the right direction here,” he said gesturing with his hands. “Let me put it this way, what do you hate. Every girl seems to have a checklist for every bloke they meet,” the boy shook his head after his statement and when she offered candy. But her last words through him a bit off guard and after a moment of silence he spoke again, “See, that makes it even worse. Because I am fairly certain brothers do not willingly help their sisters find boyfriends. It’s.. weird..” he sat down beside her just thinking of the thought.
“Uhm right direction, I don’t know the thing is that I don’t think there are any guys in this school who would want to date me or even go on a date with me. I think that is the issue.” Swallowing she looked down, not sure if there was anyone in this castle that would be interested in her. “They can’t be an asshole, and they have...they have to be understanding of my guilt complex that I have. I don’t know, they have to be sweet. I just want them to be understanding I guess.” She needed his help, he was one of the people in her house that knew her best and knew what she needed. “Well, you aren’t exactly my brother, but I need your help. I also though feel like you are one of me best guy friends even if we get on each others nerves.”
